September 10Sep 10 According to @JenniferJJacobs and @JimLaPorta of CBS News, a number of U.S. aircraft were damaged in last night’s Iranian strikes on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. Per the report, an A-10 “Warthog” was damaged, leaving it with a missing wing, and approximately 8 F-15s were damaged but returned to service. Additionally, over 30 Patriot missile interceptors were used during the inundation of Iranian fires overnight.

This is quite literally our version of a "3 day special military operation." No word on the crew or other sourcing but it looks legit.https://www.cbsnews.com/news/first-on-60-minutes-air-force-officer-shot-down-iran-rescued/ Edited September 12Sep 12 by Sua Sponte

Being in a US propaganda is pretty much the pinnacle of his career, right? Most jokes aside, a WSO O-6 shot down in combat surviving a chute malfunction and serious injuries behind enemy lines....yeah, that's Bat-21 territory right there. He should be able to live off the book deal, interviews and royalties for at least a decade...rightly so. Dude earned it! Edited Tuesday at 05:05 PM5 days by FourFans

1 hour ago1 hr I know this will generate a lot of spirited debate but I'm sure this will really push the funding and development of CCAs.I'll leave it to the smarter people on BO (within classified boundaries) to chime in on whether a CCA is anywhere near technologically feasible to take over for some or all of the F-15s mission sets. War has never been a safe or cheap endeavor but anything that lowers that cost I'm all for.
