Second ship sunk by a nuclear sub, the RN sunk the Argentine cruiser Gen Belgrano which was the former USS Phoenix which survived the Pearl Harbor attack. First one for the US Navy since WW2. I wonder if there were any survivors, they are a long way from any friends

Same as Boomer6, video gone, if it was intentional I doubt we will ever know that for sure, like Egyptian Air 990, we know what probably happened but never proven for sure

I actually have no doubt that it will be known for sure by the IC, and suspect it is already known. Whether the facts come to light after the war or the pilot is quietly disappeared only time will tell.

I heard the pilot fell off the jet in chocks and shot himself in the head twice accidently....

I’m sure many have similar stories from UPT, but one I’d heard was a Saudi student who failed Loadmaster training courses in the US, flew back home, and didn’t make it many steps off the jetway before being executed for dishonoring the Kingdom. In the airport itself.
