Anyone who knows stats knows to never take the face value of a quoted statistic. If you dig into the details, you'll find a curious definition shuffle of a lot of misdemeanors and felonies in New York City's released stats since Mamdani took over. Most interesting is that REPORTED rapes (the real number is always at least double if not higher) have, by most accounts DOUBLED this year. You'll also find that trying to get those specific numbers requires serious digging. I just did for an hour and still didn't get a good solid public services source with raw data. Yet that stat is being dismissed as a 'classification and reporting' issue instead of recognizing the fact that, like in EVERY SINGLE EUROPEAN CITY where Islamic military age men have been allowed to reign unchecked, rapes have increased dramatically. Definite correlation. Causation? A solid probable.

Mark tape: Every place in the next few years where cultural Islam and sharia law are allowed to flourish, crime will go under reported, until the truth is discovered later that outright human rights violations were actually occurring. This isn't Islamophobia, this is recognition of the true track record of every single place Islam in it's cultural form has been allowed to take over since the year 632.

I commend you on your consistency but they’re really not the same thing. One is a real policy prescription, albeit misguided, to address a problem in the country. It also stems from the genuine belief that ‘healthcare is a human right’ (FWIW I disagree.. it’s a commodity/service,) but it’s pretty obviously different from a naked buying-votes scheme. Literally just offering money if they win is cartoonish levels of anti-american villainy.

I’m not worried because 99.9% of what Trump says is complete and utter bullshit that will never materialize, but it’s funny that other than you it’s crickets in here. We both know if a dem proposed anything like this the thread would light up like the 4th of July.

I posted elsewhere about it. I’m pretty sure he was talking out of his posterior as usual since buying votes is obviously illegal. If we posted every time one of our politicians said something stupid we’d be on here all day every day.

Or if we as Americans held politicians that did illegal or unethical things to account (on the dem side that would include people such as Pelosi and Clinton), maybe we’d be in a better spot. It certainly is a choice to throw our hands up in the air and say “everyone does the bad things, so therefore nothing is bad because I can’t say my side is bad.”

I believe the administration has continued to accelerate the national debt at an unprecedented and unsustainable rate.

I believe the administration is taking government ownership of private companies while simultaneously condemning socialism.

I believe the administration is abusing executive authority in a manner that is inconsistent with limited government and will undoubtedly lead to abuse during the next Democratic administration.

I believe the administration is undermining legitimate conservative candidates to support uncompetitive MAGA loyalists.

I believe this administration undermines election integrity at every opportunity.

I could go all day. The bottom line is this administration is populist but is in no way conservative, and the chickens are coming home to roost.
