Many witnesses have alleged wrongdoing, and many may come forward to substantiate the dozens of claims against him if more concrete evidence were to emerge to substantiate claims. And there are tens of thousands of videos and pictures of abuse. Time to have some more people comb through that. On top of this, the bar for the president or politicians is not simply criminal charges. We expect our politicians to hold themselves to a moral standard, and many voted for Trump to release the files. If they were to find out that Trump was a large part of the files, that would significantly impact politics - mainly in that it would bring some people crashing back to realization of the swamp. You clearly want Trump to be guilty of anything that can stick. Are you NSAplayer's side account? BTW, since when does America hold the president to a higher moral standard? Roosevelt, Kennedy, Clinton...all adulterers that didn't do a good job of hiding it, and all would have been re-elected if it weren't for death or term limits. Not that this is pertinent, but that statement is ignorant at best. I have zero desire for a pedophile to be in charge of our country, just like I didn't want a mentally impaired octogenarian in charge. The difference is myself and others on here don't hope for the worst because we don't like the party the current president represents. 8
brabus Posted July 22 Posted July 22 @Negatory My post was completely apolitical and applies to every person, regardless of party, or any other, affiliation. You should try that some time, it’ll probably reduce your blood pressure. 2

The false neutrality is hilarious. I think both parties are generally full of idiots actually. There's far to many people like you and Bashi in office on both sides. I hope for the best like most Americans who want the country to do well, not only when their team is in charge. 1 2

Did the general public know of the affairs during those two presidencies, no. Their indiscretions were well known in the media, especially Kennedy, and they were not held to a "higher moral standard." All three presidents were still greatly admired after their affairs became public knowledge. If you don't like the president example (because all three are Democrats I suppose) then let's use MLK. If the public is going to hold someone to a higher morale standard, it's going to be a preacher. However, no one cares he was an adulterer. Back to the original point, the American public doesn't hold someone to a higher bar due to their office/position. All you need to be is popular with a significant portion of the population and any transgressions can easily be forgotten. Speaking of forgotten...the "mentally impaired" portion of my previous quote is the major issue I have with octogenarians being in office...
Biff_T Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Ironic. Tell males they're worthless for a few years via the woke agenda and now they're having mental problems. What a moron. This is the future. 2

This is the future. Standard liberal COA. Implement solution to non-existent or irrelevant problem, profit from said solution. Wait for follow-on issue to surface, create new solution, profit from new solution.
