What's wrong with the Air Force?
Not where they live it won't, chiefs don't exist in those parts, too dangerous for their health. Even at the main bases Chiefs know better than to pull that shit with those guys, they'll get asked to leave the living area politely, one time.

What's wrong with the Air Force?
Not always a good thing, as evidenced by the new 1st SOW/CC, although most former Pave Low guys I know are good dudes.

Most Heavily Decorated Soldier
Great section about him and his exploits in the book SOG: The Secret Wars of America's Commandos in Vietnam by John L. Plaster. Its an excellent book overall, the section about Howard reads like something out of a Hollywood movie. Howard was nominated for the MoH 3 times inside of 13 months, the says that most of the men who served with him felt he deserved all three. Pretty humbling stuff.

- Earthquake/Tsunami in Japan
Apologies for the poor quality, all I had was my Iphone. My EWO got some better shots, I'll post those when I get them. Missions into both Sendai and Matsushima are continuing, hopefully we'll be able to start pushing a serious amount of supplies into both and get it to the people that need it.- Earthquake/Tsunami in Japan
My link We opened up Sendai yesterday. Field is an absolute wreck, they've got about 4200ft available but STS is working to clear more. They've got a big pile of cars, vans, and mud bulldozed into a pile about 5000ft down the runway. I'll post some pics I took when I get the chance.- C-17 Down on Elmendorf
Rest easy brothers- Pavehawk down in Afghanistan
Rest easy brothers- Woodward to Command 17AF
I was at EWO school when she was the OG commander at Randolph. She seemed like a real solid leader, held students to standards but never came off as someone who had drank too much of the Kool-Aid- CV22 Crash in Afghanistan
Rest easy bros- I Hate Reflective Belts
Just got back from an exercise where, on the board in the mayors tent right alongside the MOPP and FPCON level, they had posted a reflectivecon level, I shit you not. I almost fell over when I saw that, thought my command didn't generally adhere to that kind of gayness. Pretty sad really.- T-Bird mishap pilot receives CSAF safety award
Second T-38 was a bird strike during a LL, sometime end of '06 beginning of '07, both guys got out. The two T-6's were a mid-air over the aux field pattern entry, happened either Nov or Dec 2007, all four guys got out.- The Bronze Star
The whole process, as the AF runs it, is horseshit, regardless of the with valor or without. Some army/marine PFC gets a BSM for pulling his buddy out of a burning HUMVEE under fire with shrapnel lodged in his back; some shoe clerk O-5/6 f%&k puts himself in for one after 4 months of "managing and directing" assets inside the wire at Balad. Its disgusting and it cheapens the value of the people who actually earned the medals the hard way.- The Rise and Fall of Captain Holly Graf (USN)
She probably wears underwear with dick holes in them- Leadership at the 'Deid
Adults Eternally Treated as Children..........sounds about right given the buffonery documented on the last 90 pages- RIP Colonel Robert L. Howard
This book SOG: The Secret Wars of America's Commandos in Vietnam (Paperback) ~ John Plaster Tells part of his story in Vietnam, great read, highly recommend it to anyone. Col. Howard was nominated for the Medal of Honor 3 times inside of 13 months, according to the book most people felt he deserved all 3. Here's to him- ERAU - the guaranteed contraceptive
Didn't say we were banging Riddle chicks, said we were banging chicks during spring break. And you're right, there were barely any chicks at Riddle. You're also right about most of them being ugly. None of which changes the fact that that video was gayer than a bag of dicks. - Earthquake/Tsunami in Japan
