  1. Was the 1% attributed to the co-pilot who was praying to Allah during the mishap instead of trying to address the issue?
  2. That documentary didn't mention the incredible lack of experience or requirements for foreign pilots, did it? I watched it and remember them doing nothing but blame Boeing.
  3. You are in the other fighter's cockpit... Via the hours-long tape debriefs that record everything. You're just there after the flight.
  4. What are these downgrades and Q1, 2, and 3?

What was the salary and the required qualifications?

    Thanks.

How long did the process last? I am just now starting a MEB/PEB process for the Marine Corps, so there are obvious differences. With that said, I was diagnosed with epilepsy which is controlled by medication when I was an F-18 IP. Two waiver attempts were both denied and I left the Marine Corps as a Captain - No one advised me about a medical retirement. I was fortunate that I was picked up for a Reservist billet assisting transitioning Marines with their transition from Active Duty to civilian, and am now eligible for a Reserve Retirement Awaiting Pay at Age 60. Any knowledge about the timeline or process that you can pass would be hugely helpful as no one I can find really knows anything about the process, including my command.
  8. As a former Boeing F-15C CIP, and now an LM F-35 CIP... Tell me more! Where are these jobs located and what is an average day? I love fossil fuels, powered my time in the Hornet and my affinity for fast toys - Both two and four wheels!
  9. I'd man up a Flanker if I weren't scared of the potential blue on blue...
  10. Valid. These were my first thoughts when I saw that DCS video: 1) I want to believe this is real. 2) The deck is the deck! 3) Where was the IRCCM?! 4) A viscap can f*ck up anyone's day.
  11. No one is comfortable fighting at night. We're just forced to train to it more, which is obviously beneficial.

That is why I used the term "Leftist" and not "Liberal." Leftists are the vocal minority of the Democratic party who, unfortunately, have had far too much sway given their relatively small numbers. *** EDIT *** With that said, there are many people who call themselves "liberals" but are anything but and have no idea what an actual liberal is. I'd venture to say that most Democrats, or at least most younger Democrats, don't espouse these values anymore... Individual rights, freedom of speech, freedom of religion and press, a free market economy...

Leftists have flown too close to the sun... ... I hope.
  14. I don't know that I'd want to BFM a Zero in a Battle Penguin, especially the B/C with no gun. We had a T-34 support a WTI course at Yuma to BFM Hornets... It wasn't good for the 4th gen team.
  15. F*cking hypocrites. It is a shame that such an amazing place to live (CA) has been turned into this terrible state due to leftist policies that idiots guided (I'm assuming) solely by their emotions, enact. Thank God the CA universal healthcare didn't make it through... ... Until next year.
  16. Concur, unless there is audio available to everyone it doesn't matter. For what it is worth, hearing rumors inside the community and having seen the video, it sounds like a shit hot break went poorly. If you listen to the audio the engine is awfully quiet, which occurs when you try to get on-speed... Until there is either a "wave-off" call from the LSO or the pilot realizes that he's well below glideslope when you hear the engine try to spool, far too late. Suspect it'll be a long time before anyone knows the reality except those who witnessed the event.
  17. Can they alternate whose on top? 😎
  18. I'm guessing that you're obese because you've been following the old food pyramid most of your life which recommends 11 servings of carbohydrates a day...
  19. How many Americans died yesterday *with* the common cold?
  20. @nsplayr, no these questions should be asked where the public can bear witness. If there are sources that were involved then perhaps they should be revealed. There are no "methods" that could be divulged from answering those questions. No? You don't think that everything that happens is a power play by someone? I'm sorry to tell you, but you are incredibly naive.
  21. I listened to him say those words in the video interview that I watched yesterday.
  22. I'm curious if 1) The media will try to hide/censure that interview (it's already been removed from a few places), and 2) If vaccine proponents will continue to blindly follow whatever big pharma and the media propose for "protection" or if that single admission of failure is enough to have some of them start questioning their blind allegiance. I'm fearful it might not be enough because espousing their vaccine status and masking has become an identity for so many...
  23. CEO Bourla says Pfizer vaccines offer limited protection 'if any' and even less against infection (opindia.com) Pfizer CEO once said their shots were "100% effective." Now he just said that two shots "offer very limited, if any protection against Covid-19." This is what happens when a vaccine isn't properly vetted. "Trust the science." Laughable.
  24. Obese people cause higher rates in general because others have to subsidize the, often, poorer segment of society who make up a larger portion of the obese. At age 65 the rate at which someone causes a motor vehicle accident begins to increase significantly. Should we take away all drivers licenses for people when they turn 65?
