The aircraft wasn't that badly damaged considering it was an actual lawn dart.

SERE and DUNKER req'd?
It does for Helo-to-Helo transitions. Don't see why it wouldn't for FW as well

F-16s from Hill to Holloman
It already takes 9 months for a 5 month course. I still can't believe they don't PCS folks there for some of the courses.

That Cyber Thread
Don't give PEX anymore power than it already does. As soon as it gets to Cyber it will become self-aware and schedule everybody for weekly Green-Dot training.

The Next President is...
In fairness that is most likely due to the republican state leadership refusing to expand Medicare and trying and obstruct the ACA at every juncture. Other states like Washington have seen rates decrease.

Thunderbird AND Blue Angel Crash?
No. The AIB should be wrapping up in the next month based on historical timelines. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Baseops Network Forums mobile app

Improving Red Flag - N
Actually care about the entire PR mission set from report to reintegration. There are a bunch of times that the helos are still in the wrong side of the fence and the fighters are popping beers at the bar. If it requires cycling off the tanker more than planned to provide OSC or RESCORT then so be it. This is in the weeds but pick a survivor from a strike package flight and have their Bros on the radio talking to their "wingman" instead of random guy with a CSEL.

How do you feel about your airframe and mission?
One of the initial selectees was a HH-60 IF from the schoolhouse at Kirtland.

How do you feel about your airframe and mission?
I've had plenty of enlisted flight engineers and gunners in helicopters tell me that I'm a fucking idiot and get debriefed just as well as some instructors. It takes a little while to get there just like the officers but a crusty EF or EG will not just be a "yes sir" type of aircrew member. We don't crash in compartments and they're my only defense when things get dicey and hadji starts shooting, so I trust and take their inputs as much as a pilot.

Last fighter/bomber death by enemy fire?
Pedro 15 was also downed by enemy fire only 1.5 months after 66. The Army DART team had to put her out of her misery.

F-35 Lightning info
Good old Sikorski reset fixes almost every problem except AFCS. Funny thing is that there was no "Huey reset". Mostly because there weren't enough avionics to actually reset and the damn thing never broke.

MCPS Goretex Jacket
If your going the flight-only route go with Massif. Although the MCPS pants are the shit.
-
MCPS Goretex Jacket
IMHO the MCPS jacket is shit. It's really bulky and the elastic at the bottom causes it to ride up. Sewing on velcro ruins the water resistance of the goretex.

LRS-B contract awarded
As in "power up" or "torque down" we have that too. Sometimes it doesn't work well or not at all.
