Disclaimer: I've only flown the C-40, not an airline 737, but I'm now flying the 320. The Guppy's FMS, overall flows, VNAV, climb rate and stopping distance are way better than the bus, IMO. 2 cup holders, hooray! Jump seat is meh...deer stand is torture. The Bus is slightly quieter at cruise but takes for ever to get there. Not monitoring the engine start is neat. The autoflap retract on a heavy climb out is weird since you basically have to overspeed it then trust the automation to prevent an actual overspeed. The lack of an auto let down ability at TOD is annoying. But it's super easy to "fly" and I do enjoy the tray table. Jump seats way better. Overall, I'll fly which ever one results in a better schedule. Oddly, at my domicile the bus is more junior than the guppy on the FO side so that's why I picked it.

I didn't get the joke at first on OE when my CKA remarked that the FA's will cure 3/4's of the pax getting on early in wheelchairs. After we put the jet to sleep I noticed a good half dozen wheel chair pushers still waiting for pax when I got off and told them the jet was now empty.

That is not a fact. Just because the dude is campaigning for support doesn't mean they are losing. They have been retaking an impressive amount of land that was previously occupied from the Russians (reference this post). Is it a tough situation? Yes, obviously...but the Ukrainian military will be much better off with modern weapons that can help minimize their casualties while maximizing Russian casualties. They have done wonders with HIMARs and artillery alone.

I purposely bid Xmas eve & day and NYE & NY day (LAS overnight...could be dangerous) for the extra 21 hours in pay. That's what's great about the airlines. With enough seniority, you can do what you actually want.

Qatari F-15QA doing an impressive routine at the Dubai airshow. It appears 2x 30k motors, clean/no CFT's, and the fly by wire really turned the Eagle into a low speed monster.

If those UPS pilots who took the early retirement still get their full benefits and there isn't any fine print traps...this seems like an easy way to get an extra $250k + whatever PSA's CA pay rate is + their full UPS retirement. But, I'd guess it would work out to being only slightly more than what they made as a 15 year UPS CA and then you'd have to deal with being the most junior pilot at a regional...which would probably be very painful at 60+ years old.

Every country spies on each other. You think we don't spy on our allies? Token Example here. Second token example here. But yes, I do think Israel is our ally. It's also the only legitimate democracy in that part of the world...which is generally the type of government we also like to support. Do we have a perfect past with Israel? Of course not...the USS Liberty incident being a great example. But I'd much rather support Israel than any other country in that region just based on values and morality alone. How often do you see Israeli citizens shouting "Death to America" or burning American flags?

The issue is Hamas uses civilian shields as a form of "lawfare" just like China does gray zone operations. The refugee camp also, according to the IDF, was sheltering "a senior Hamas commander" and caused the collapse of Hamas's underground infrastructure. So, probably a valid target according to LOAC, but arguably not a smart one in terms of optics. An issue is the western populace doesn't (justifiably) understand that Hamas uses schools to launch rockets, hospitals for their military HQs, and encourages civilians to enter buildings after IDF roof thumps. I don't think Israel wants to kill civilians, but after the events of this month, at this point they definitely aren't going out of their way to avoid them anymore.
