Seen a few who should never have made it out of B course (across multiple units) - the end result was appropriate, but the timeline was way too long in every case. The delay in my opinion is always at the commander level, not with the patches and other “line IPs.” To be fair though, in this day and age with everything being litigated/“I was discriminated against!” claims, commanders do need to “build a case” before FEB-ing someone.

Ask any Ops squadron (line flyer, DOT, DO, or CC) if they're completing their mandatory AGEP surveys on recent graduates. Bet you they're like, eh-GeP...bless you? Or ask, what did you just ask?

Every gun is different - buy several boxes of different ammo and see which one your particular gun likes best (function and accuracy). Takes a little more effort, but recommend writing down notes as you go so you can make an objective decision. Part of the fun, enjoy the range time!

Guy in my class did basically the same thing, did a Masters via AFIT civilian program then spent all of a few months at his actual first unit before coming to UPT, so it is possible. However it is ultimately up to the board if you get selected or not.

Your stats are great! I really can’t offer much advice, because it feels like a crapshoot based on my conversations with prior applicants (selects and non-selects). If it makes you feel any better, I’m sitting at a 99 pilot, 68 PCSM (no flying hours and currently deployed so I couldn’t do much about flying hours for this year), 3.4 GPA w/ a MBA. Chose not to pursue ENJJPT because of my lower PCSM and I have no desire to track fighters/bombers. Not sure what my Wing ranking was, but last I heard there were only a couple of applicants from my base, which is shocking because usually there are 10+. Hopefully it’s a 100 slot year again! Sounds like USAFA Class of ‘26 was given about 110 more pilot slots than Class of ‘25, if there’s any correlation whatsoever.
