  2. Federalizing elections is right the fuck out. Voter ID requirement should have happened forever ago. Voter rolls are fucked in several states (probably more than we know), so maybe a better fix is to amend the law to be more specific instead of using massively subjective language like “reasonable.” Fed takeover though is absolutely not the fix.

  5. Cuba could turn into the economic powerhouse of the Caribbean. I went to school with a lot of friends that came over during the Mariel Boat Lift....they flooded our schools when it happened. I've talked to many of them over the past few weeks including some who HATE Trump but are cheering what he did in Venezuela and potentially Cuba. Every single one of them can retire in the next few years but all have vowed to go back for a few years to help rebuild. So much potential and people don't realize how big Cuba is (55% the size of Florida).
  6. If the regime collapses, we need to be ready for the inevitable mass exodus, this article does not give much confidence that planning/preparation is underway, I’m more neutral as this scenario I’m sure has been at least researched/simulated but I’d prefer public statements that we are prepared/preparing https://www.forbes.com/sites/craighooper/2026/02/04/with-cuba-on-the-ropes-america-is-unready-for-massive-cuban-exodus/ Just my druthers I’d prefer a proposal to the communist regime for an orderly transition: Safe passage to the Russian Federation with compensation for high level, named government individuals or you can get a cell next to Maduro Amnesty for all other communist regime party and government officials following a truth and reconciliation process US commitment to a ten year economic support and aid program Demobilization of portions of the Cuban military and coordination for a US/Canadian/Spanish stabilization mission Formal processing center on the Cuban mainland for migrants seeking immediate release Diplomatic recognition simultaneously occurring with political & economic reforms, support tied to reasonable milestones. The expulsion of all non Western Hemisphere military, intelligence & non-state security threats/organizations personnel/equipment being the starting point
  7. One of the dudes at Creech just got his dates yesterday. That’s cool the rated manager emailed you directly since you would move next month. Praying I move in March as well!
  8. Not by last name unless they started that recently. I knew a guy who started two months before me with a name at the end of the alphabet. Order or merit might be a thing or it might not but alphabetical probably isn't it.

  10. Yesterday I had received an email directly from the rated accessions training manager and told me that I would have an RNLTD of March and class start date of April at Laughlin. Nothing officially in my CDB but I was told I should get an assignment notification in by the end of the week. My last name also starts with an A, so alphabetical assignment uploads could be possible.

But not surprising, considering Trump may be a lot of things, but a true politician is not one of them. And true politicians for the most part seem to get very little done.
  12. I do know there are some people that didn’t volunteer for enjjpt that were pretty competitive. So I don’t think that has much weight. Also the Enjjpt pipeline is backed up as well. I know a few people there that waited over a year to start.
  13. To that point my buddy did have an age ETP. Probably wanted to get that dinosaur his wings before he turns into jet fuel.

The downside to a diesel is warming up the glow plug before firing

    Mine’s not gas, it’s diesel.
  16. Literally... My boss asked why I keep refreshing EFMP lol I just want to know my base!
  17. Anyone else just sitting here refreshing CDB on vMPF every 5 min lol? I'd imagine it probably flows --> anyone with humanitarian consideration --> anyone coming up close to Age restriction --> then alphabetically and/or merit based
  18. Possibly, but then wouldn't we have heard about assignments for the ENJJPT folks first? Maybe they've already moved onto bigger things and don't associate with us lowly UPT selects lol

How many that vote for it would be able to explain even the most basic gun terminology? I'd love to hear them attempt to answer that interview question. A gun operating on gasoline does sound scary to me! And not very green!
  20. It would be fucking wild if the first president in decades to take national defense seriously was a reality TV show host.

New Mexico's turn to go full retard. Just one of the gems in SB17 seeks to ban ALL gas operated semi-automatic guns.

Trump's Foreign Policy is a big departure from President's past. He removed the criminal leading Venezuela, Iran is about to fall and, not getting much press is the full court press on Cuba. Not a fully named embargo but little oil is getting in and they likely have less than 30 days reserve on island. Interesting that Maduro's protection element was all Cuban and it is coming to light that there was a lot of fentanyl coming in through via and enabled by Cuba. Numerous Russian military transports have landed in Cuba the last three weeks...intel indicated Air Defense, attack drones and ECM assets. Would be interesting if he took, Iran, Venezuela and Cuba all off the table as threats in a single term.

It is hearing safe! Interesting video below - cliff notes he says 5.7MM has the following advantages - More rounds same space (some gun mags up to 24 rounds), less recoil, better penetration (including level 2 body armor which 9MM can't penetrate), longer range, better reliability issues because it doesn't use a feed ramp like most 9MM's. I won't be replacing all my 9MMs anytime soon but I am impressed. The biggest advantage I've seen is how light, small and quiet it is which makes it useful for home defense.

This is what happens when you hire people into your administration based solely on their celebrity status. Pretending like these people have any appreciation for the Constitution or conservative rights more broadly is naive. They are where they are because they exist only to accrue power and fame. It's why so many of them switch parties when they become pariahs in their own. Trump is a good example. He has a very specific set of issues and policies that he cares about, and frequently steps on a conservative landmine on issues he doesn't care about, like gun control. Then his base loses their mind, and he quickly pivots on that issue to align more conservatively.

How does it sound with the suppressor? I assume it’s still not hearing safe. I’m still undecided on the 5.7, but it is interesting and somewhere on the list. I’ve started a pretty expensive rifle build, and hunting for an airplane, so I unfortunately may actually have to break my own rule and only get one gun this year (gross, that just sounds terrible).
