Biff_T Posted Monday at 05:39 PM Posted Monday at 05:39 PM We should have sent Maverick on a special ops fighter pilot mission to extract at least one of those Tomcats. 1
uhhello Posted Monday at 05:41 PM Author Posted Monday at 05:41 PM (edited) Judging by the parking arrangement, I'd venture to guess that those aircraft weren't going anywhere and haven't for a long time but who knows Edited Monday at 05:42 PM by uhhello
disgruntledemployee Posted Monday at 05:46 PM Posted Monday at 05:46 PM I'm reading Israel has declared air superiority over Tehran, and reading that Iran wants to negotiate. I'm betting Netanyahu isn't done yet and plans to obliterate all ballistic/nuke/drone/offensive capability that can touch Israel. Iran best reel in its forces attacking anything US before we join in and carpet bomb the place.

I'd lean more towards supremacy and zero chance Israel is willing to negotiate unless it involves Israelis's being allowed to implode every underground facility in Iran.
brabus Posted Monday at 07:02 PM Posted Monday at 07:02 PM They ripped the lid off, now they have to fully finish it. They need an end state like Japan in WW2 - complete demilitarization, confiscation of all war material, etc. Iran cannot have any capability to project power outside its borders. Hopefully this is also a catalyst for the Iranian people to rid themselves of the horrendous regime they’ve been under for the last ~45 years. 6 1 1

Unless you’re thinking of the other war going on over in that hemisphere.

Springer Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago This Iranian living in Great Britian does a pretty good job of reporting:
Clark Griswold Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago 777s as GBU-57 armed bombers… https://www.theblaze.com/columns/opinion/israels-strategy-now-rests-on-one-bomb-and-its-american I wonder if this is like the HARM on a MiG-29, it’s already been worked out but not tried yet.

One device in a truck parked in Tel Aviv by Hamas or Hezbollah would guarantee Iran's death plus most of Israel in its death throws in a massive nuclear retaliation.
tac airlifter Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Happy to see Iran getting crushed and one must respect how ruthlessly Israel plays the game. Had we been as vicious/decisive I think outcomes from the GWOT would be more advantageous. I am curious about the "Iran nuke threat;" yes I've seen plenty of scary intel, but we'd be foolish not to keep the false claims of Saddam WMD top of mind before getting involved. 1

Real or not, Israel has done more to accomplish defanging the regime and its proxies in the region over the last 12 months than we managed to accomplish in 20 years.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1

Just reminding everyone we've been tricked before WRT WMD. 1

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk He's an obvious agitator against the regime, and likely been working with the CIA for years. My point is he's making public videos on X calling for the people to rise up, now.
