There is some context to his statement.  Economically Russia is on the ropes, additional sanctions (which I support), could be the tipping point.  While their military is viewed as a peer adversary, Russia's economy is far less impressive.  Their GDP is 11th on the world list, coming in well below Italy, Canada and Brazil.  The have taken massive losses and are unable to rebuild some key capabilities like the bombers that were lost in Operation Spider Web.

This week Putin officially acknowledge the economic difficulties, some thing he never does but in this case he has no choice.  The offensive expected in the summer of 2026 is likely their last gasp at victory in Ukraine.

I understand and respect your opinion, I just think at a much higher strategic level Russia has been removed from the table as a major peer threat to the United States.  Their military humbled and destroyed, likely 1 million casualties with as many as 250,000 soldiers killed, it will take them a generation to recover and we didn't lose a single American soldier.

I've asked this before, but imagine a defense contractor built a magic button that, once pressed, meant that our primary land threat simply wasn't a consideration for a decade. How much would that button be worth? Got to be at least a few tens of billions.

True, I mention as it they seemed to be there for specific training, drones, and how to use asymmetric capabilities / tactics to fight conventional forces.  Bodes ill for stability in certain areas poorly / loosely governed methinks.

Why do other countries send pilot trainees to UPT?

 

There aren't many places to learn how to use FPV drives in combat. In fact, for now there's only one.

I’m all for total transparency regarding jeff and pedo island (except for victims identities). I’m also all for punishing any and all involved with any sexual abuse. And as others have stated, i think the death penalty is warranted for all pedos.

But, i still think it’s inappropriate to call POTUS that, unless he is proven to be guilty of that.

Not sure this complete thread derailment serves any purpose other than to allow you to heroically defend faggotry and also call the sitting Pres a pedo with no actual proof. I hope you can find resolution with your struggles.

Did you just use chatgpt to find you a source to support your argument without checking that source?  I was curious about your argument and got 4 sentences in before realizing it's a completely irrelevant data set.  352 children (276 girls and 76 boys) from a single regional hospital is hardly what any self respecting researcher would call "representative" enough to support any claim outside of the walls of that regional hospital.  You want to make a claim for or against an entire group of people, at least cite a national source.

I was dragged into this homo discussion by DayMan simply by pointing out the inappropriate accusation thrown at potus. I stand by what i stated years ago, but not sure how it had any bearing on insulting potus with something unproven. If he had stated “trump has a history of acting degenerately towards women”,  this discussion wouldn’t be happening.

Also, Typical tactic to claim the other person “hates” and then use the term “closeted” as an insult (it usually is, but a “supporter” or “participator” shouldn’t think that). I don’t hate, but definitely think it’s a destructive choice just like all sexual debauchery is. You have free will and can think and act how you want. I’ve got many temptations I fight, but buggery is not one of them.
