brabus Posted yesterday at 01:50 PM Posted yesterday at 01:50 PM Turns out when you suck, both in job performance and as a human, it may not work out for you. Should have happened long ago. 2
Blue Posted yesterday at 04:03 PM Posted yesterday at 04:03 PM Would love to see Adam Carolla take over Kimmel's slot. 1
disgruntledemployee Posted yesterday at 05:00 PM Author Posted yesterday at 05:00 PM If anyone here thinks any other comedian doing these shows is going to lay off Trump, Maga, AOC, MGT, Ice Barbie, Hunter, Blowbert, or even Rosie O'Donnell, is retarded. So what if MAGA got it's feeling hurt, (see Hurt Feeling report) because Jimmy said the shooter was one of their own. Next week he would have said something about Whoopi or Vance, or Putin. This was all about kissing the fake king ring to get their deal stamped by the govt. Same as ABC settling with Trump... needed that deal. Same shit as it's ever been, appease the govt to get what you want. Kimmel ain't going away. HBO has Oliver and Maher, Stewart still active, so Showtime can use a show, not to mention Hulu, etc. My bet is Kimmel goes for the crucifix look and plays the persecuted messiah. PS, looking forward to more South Park. The irony, Ice Babs and T get pissed, Kirk laughed and found it funny.
brabus Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago This was a business decision. If one of your employees is saying or doing things that may hurt your business in one or more ways, you have every right to fire them. Jimmy Kimmel is a POS leftist elite, but he wasn’t fired directly for that, he was fired for being a threat to the success of the business based on his unacceptable rhetoric to the majority (and his ratings were declining). This is in no way a 1A violation, but rather we’re finally seeing consequences for people’s words/actions. He and everyone else is welcome to say horrible things and be a total POS without fear of gov persecution, but they will also be free to reap the consequences of those words dealt out by employers, individuals, etc. 2 4

Didn't ABC fire Roseanne Barr?

Lord Ratner Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago The FCC involvement in Kimmel getting fired is concerning. I'm not sure if that was what pushed everything over the edge, but it was a completely unnecessary interjection, and it is contrary to any conservative conception of what the government should be doing. I suspect ABC was just looking for a reason to cancel yet another of the dying-breed late night shows, but now because the FCC had to open his big stupid mouth, he turned to win into a a gaff. Also, I don't care how stupid the left is, and they are really stupid, if you are in a position of power in the government you should not be responding to journalists with memes 4

You can tell each cabinet position or govt head is just looking for ways to get an attaboy from the new big guy. It's pretty disgusting
brabus Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago On that note, Pam Bondi - she is wildly off base and needs to get fired immediately. Biggest disappointment of all the major nominees. 1 3

Biggest disappointment of all the major nominees. I never understood the allure, other than the fact she's pretty and Trump loves hiring pretty women. Trump was correct to hire cabinet heads who are aligned with his vision and ready to follow orders, but they need to be like Marco Rubio, not trying to mimic Donald Trump's bombast and hyperbole, and serve as the professional face of the administration. Rubio has been the surprise All-Star of this administration, and as long as he can maintain this balance, JD Vance is going to have strong competition for the nomination in a few years 1 1
