You have to understand that Enidstan is a former oil "boom" casualty of the 1980s. They are exceedingly skittish, like Minot, in allowing excess housing inventory to be built for a gritty transient population of energy blue collar workers. I understand where they're coming from regarding the housing stock.

The DoD happens to be the welfare employer of the area via pork barrel, so servicemembers are the pawns. Captive audience dynamics abound.

Shaw down $200 over 2-yr span...small-town dynamics repeated over multiple locations

Huge increase in Pensacola.  Big drop for Eglin.  Amazing how different market conditions can be on either side of Hurlburt.

O-4 with dependents up $117 at Dyess.

First change in five years.  It's been $1776 since I got here in 2013.

PIT is backed up because we only cut 8 sorties from the syllabus.  So if you could hurry up and PA already and suck less maybe you would all graduate on time.  Never mind the record weather attrition.   Jump in on our new VR simulators, you should be ready to graduate in a couple of hours.  Innovate harder for f#$% sake.   Sorry I gota go clean my pant's now, as a blue kool aid drinking guy I am any time any one says innovate I climax immediately now.   

New rates are out. Calculator isn't updated but the ascii files are available. If I'm reading them right looks like a sizable jump ($110) for me. 

$70 less in my zip code...glad I’m grandfathered

Went up 113 for an O4 in Vegas. But last year it went down from the previous year so this bump is good. More than what you made in 18. 

Wow went up like 300 for me. Was at the rate protected O4 rate from 2018. Nice bump this year.

 

Calculator works. The dumbasses put 2020 after 2019 in the list and it defaults to 2019.

O-4 is down by about $30 at Malmstrom...which was already pretty weak on BAH.
