  1. You can get the normal courses done EASILY in a day. however, you then have to wait for the applied courses -- which then are set to be btw 2-3 weeks. I started with NS in mid Oct and with NO delays, was able to finish late Jan 13.
  2. When I was there, I kept my boat at 3 places.... 1. On base. The Outdoor Rec offers on base storage (not covered) for about $20 a month 2. In my garage (primary) 3. Lake Tuscaloosa....several places I had a 2008 Moomba Outback V, and another buddy who had a Malibu....and neither one of us would dare park or drive our boat on/near Lake Columbus. Lake Lowndes was a great option to drop in for a quick run or two. Tuscaloosa is worth it's weight in gold -- tow the boat(s) there, on the water all day, stayed at the Yellowhammer Inn (they have a marina), etc...
  3. What? You can get TA for a international Masters? I've never heard of that....didn't use the search function either.
  4. Isn't BaseOps.net for heterosexuals.....that could be why he's MIA.
  5. Go to the fvckin' Navy there puss... Don't show up and post sh!t then complain - you have don't have a sense of humor so you wouldn't last.
  6. Basically, what they are telling you is don't take any initiative towards making yourself marketable to the promotion board. As ClearedHot once said (and I paraphrase): "I didn't make up the promotion rules. Stop fvcking making excuses or downgrading those folks who are playing by the rules." BL - explore all of your options and figure out what you can do that best fits your needs both professionally and personally. If it means you get a box cutter master's degree then swindle your way thru ACSC, then so be it. If the peeps on the promotion board don't see thru it, then we have bigger problems. Besides, promotion should be based on future potential rather than what you've done on the past.
  7. Yes, in the applied courses. Very easy to bullsh!t your way thru...
  8. Just a question... Why not push the extra 4 months and earn the additional 2.5% raise in retirement base pay for 22 yrs of service vice 21 yrs 8 months? Curious. Thanks.
  9. I have yet to read anything for the course.... On my last paper in Joint Warfare....the instructor gave me a topic, I can research what I need to answer his questions. Painful = not the least bit. I'd treat it as a TUI research paper....put zero thought into it and make an A+.
  10. We closed a year ago with Alan Scarpa from NBOKC....3.75%. Not too shabby....def beats the original 6.5% we took back in 2006!!!
  11. It is in the AFI 11-401. Only exception is General officers flying VIP/SAM or OSA/JOSAC cut missions.
  12. PM me your issues with 6.0, specifically what ILA's you're having trouble with.
  13. The absolute MOST rewarding mission(s) I've ever been part of. You wouldn't say the same thing on friendly fire, would you?
  14. What, that nobody on the "ground" was hurt? You would be absolutely surprised at how many AF officers have absolutely no idea what the Reaper (or other UAS) is/does. Nothing wrong with the quote unless I'm missing something...
  15. Which means his LEADERSHIP is lacking....
  16. You should post pics of your Fiance' before we can give you good advice...
  17. We are talking the ACSC DL 6.0 Non-Masters Program...not SOS.
  18. The Joint Forces crap is PAINFUL -- be forewarned.
  19. Anyone here in the 6.0 Joint Forces?
  20. I've heard 90% of that speech before 4 years ago. Never gets old....
  21. No, the AF teaches that conformity is the standard.
  22. Columbus AFB, which is about 2 hrs away, allows hunting on base. You won't bag an 8-point, but you will see plenty of deer. Mr. Frank Lockhart is/was the base game warden, and is on the global.
