  1. He is West Point. I imagine his orders were much like ROTC going on PDT, to/from field training, or something in which drinking (even when over 21) is forbidden.
  2. He was on orders so he shouldn't have been drinking. When he was "arrested/treated" they smelled alcohol on him. So I guess W Point just dis-enrolled him or what not before getting any facts straight.
  3. She kinda reminds me of "fat Col with hands in pockets."
  4. No thunder stolen. I'd be much happier to find out there are no mass graves anywhere in the US! And that psychic's are full of shit.
  5. Hopefully there isn't a psycho on the lose but man this story has it all. AWOL pyscho ex-boyfriend Committed sex offender Psychic

Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Force! You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you. In company with our brave Allies and brothers-in-arms on other Fronts, you will bring about the destruction of the German war machine, the elimination of Nazi tyranny over the oppressed peoples of Europe, and security for ourselves in a free world. Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and battle hardened. He will fight savagely. But this is the year 1944! Much has happened since the Nazi triumphs of 1940-41. The United Nations have inflicted upon the Germans great defeats, in open battle, man-to-man. Our air offensive has seriously reduced their strength in the air and their capacity to wage war on the ground. Our Home Fronts have given us an overwhelming superiority in weapons and munitions of war, and placed at our disposal great reserves of trained fighting men. The tide has turned! The free men of the world are marching together to Victory! I have full confidence in your courage and devotion to duty and skill in battle. We will accept nothing less than full Victory! Good luck! And let us beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking. SIGNED: Dwight D. Eisenhower

If the guy was from COTS I am surprised he said "yes" to the officer question.

Anyone here do any painting (duracoat, cerakote, etc?) I am thinking about picking up a compressor and paint gun to get my upper and lowers FDE to match all the furniture on it. I am NOT a fan of the spray paint option since it doesn't generally match the same shade of FDE that Magpul uses. If anyone interested in here is the formula to get a damn near PERFECT match for FDE: 1 tablespoon Duracoat Leupold DE 1 teaspoon Duracoat Leupold DE 1 teaspoon Duracoat DM Lizard 1 teaspoon CAV ARMS Coyote Brown 1/2 teaspoon Hardener 3 ML flatterer Stolen from AR15.com. Note how close it is to the stock, pistol grip, and hand grip. Another rifle here using same technique:
  9. I like it when they use the word "leveled." It's just such a great word. "...leveled a compound in the Wana area of South Waziristan." Awesome.
  10. Because most of the people have their head burried in the dash 1 studying the shit out of the T-6/-1/-38/etc when it happens...and nobody gives a shit. I remember seeing pictures of a promotion party of a ROTC buddy on Facebook. He had a party, guests, cake, etc...he was a finance officer. He had already been doing his REAL job for several months. What are UPT students doing when they hit 1LT? They are STUDENTS. The last thing on anyones mind is their date of rank. They are just trying to survive the day to day grind. I know...because I was one of those guys who missed their own promotion. Nobody gave a shit. Trying to convince a 2LT to keep tabs on something that insignificant (IMO) is silly. Worry about something "important" like being prepared for your flight. Not running around all day getting shit sown onto your flight suit while you are still in formal release.

  12. Yea saw that. Well Kesha one year ago. I figured she was gonna gain a few...but figured it would take her a lot longer than one year. Britney kept it together for what...five years before letting herself go? ^I'd do that version
  13. That's how I feel about that Kesha chick.
  14. This guy will be a SHOE in for the next ASBC commander.
  15. I'll seriously consider a pay cut once the douche's in the rest of the government do also...STARTING with EVERY elected official.
  16. I still put that in the WIN category. And perhaps the rounds were accidently dropped in pigs blood...not that I would condone that "evil" action since it would be cruel and totally against everything America stands for...but here is to wishful thinking...

    Win!
  18. 2 months? Ouch! No, I was just hoping I wouldn't have to much time on an air mattress. Pity they don't give us 3 weeks of PTDY. :(
  19. In mother Russia...car start you!
  20. What kind of cell phone was that? That's some impressive battery life right there.
  21. Trying to get my stuff out of storage (yey they found it!). And I was quoted three weeks for them to deliver my stuff from Columbus AFB to Scott AFB. That sounds ridiculously long (STS). I got the phone number for JIPSO in San Antonio who I guess is in charge of it. So plan on calling them tomorrow. Just curious if I have a leg to stand on or if I will make myself look like a tard since three weeks is SOP.
  22. 2. I guess they should also report any time the President's car doesn't start on the first attempt.
  23. Considering the Comanche was a stealth helicopter...that does make sense.
  24. Looks like someone gave the 160th "stealth" Blackhawks. https://www.aviationweek.com/aw/blogs/defense/index.jsp?plckController=Blog&plckBlogPage=BlogViewPost&newspaperUserId=27ec4a53-dcc8-42d0-bd3a-01329aef79a7&plckPostId=Blog%3a27ec4a53-dcc8-42d0-bd3a-01329aef79a7Post%3a275902dd-e7a2-40fd-ab78-d46e3bf922b1&plckScript=blogScript&plckElementId=blogDest
