Sanity check - Should we buy our dream home?
I owned four properties during my career, and am still living in the last one I bought. As long as you realize a "dream home" is usually a 90-95% match of what you are looking for, and buy smartly, it can be an excellent investment. I did well on all of my properties! Cheers! M2

Sanity check - Should we buy our dream home?
Sounds like your answer. If it is your "dream home," then why wouldn't you buy it?

Pilot Shortage Deepens, USAF is SCREWED.
I wouldn't take anything posted on Military.com as official, even if quoting "Enlisted Jesus"... The USAF is already producing enlisted RPA drivers, which will be the extent of it. If anything, expect that pipeline will expand. Nothing else.

Just one? Slacker! I love the 1911, and shoot mine (I have several, mostly Springfields) better than pretty much every other type of pistol I own. They are a bit heavier, but I am more comfortable with the ergonomics of the single stack and the weight makes them easier to shoot. That said, the 1911 is why I carry a XD(M) Competition Series .45; the dimensions (minus width) are pretty much the same as a 1911 and overall it's lighter, but the selling factor is 13 round magazines (plus one in the chamber and an extra mag on me somewhere). Are 27 rounds of .45 ACP enough? I hope so, and I'd rather have and not need than the other way around. So I end up with about 12 more rounds with a pistol that is pretty much the same dimensions and somewhat lighter than a 1911. It's ain't nearly as pretty, but that's a burden I'll just have to bare... Cheers! M2

Not surprising, Act of Valor demonstrated that using non-actors doesn't add to a movie. If anything, it detracts. Not surprisingly, both have/are getting lackluster reviews. Eastwood should have known better. By the way, I wasn't impressed by American Sniper or Lone Survivor either. I guess I am too critical of combat-related movies. Black Hawk Down is probably one of the few contemporary movies I've felt was fairly accurate even though I know some aspects of it were also changed for entertainment's sake...- Latest Movies
I was less impressed. I really wanted to like it, and felt it had great potential; but overall it fell way short of the mark. Of course, it must've impressed someone as a sequel is already allegedly being planned and possibly even a franchise...- I need some advice

Yep, we were pretty impressed with it as well. McDermott and Peter Stormare have great characters, and Kim Matula is easy on the eyes. Even Nathan Lee Graham (Todd from Zoolander) does well with being funny but not the usual cram-it-down-your-throat (phrasing) gay flight attendant. My son even recognized Nathan Kress, who played Freddie on iCarly. It has all the makings of a great show, hopefully they can sustain it!- Gun Talk
My latest acquisition, a Webley Mk I still in .455... I believe it has been re-arsenaled, but not updated to a Mk I* (a dovetailed hardened backplate installed and in some cases the hammer is replaced, essentially turning it into a Mk II). The Mk I was approved in 1890 and approximately 40,000 were made. The vast majority have been re-arsenaled. The holster, a 1943 Canadian canvas one for a Mk VI variant, was included. It's my fourth Webley. I have a 1918 Mk VI also in .455, and two Mk IVs in .38/200. Cheers! M2 - Gun Talk
