For the state you are stationed in, you will have to check on the reciprocity of it with the state your concealed handgun licensed was issued with. Unlike your driver's license, it is not automatic. There are many websites that keep current of such agreements, such as: https://www.usacarry.com/concealed_carry_permit_reciprocity_maps.html As for carrying on base, it is dependent on the base commander's policy. Federal law does not prohibit having a personally-owned firearm on military bases, only in Federal facilities (18 U.S. Code ยง 930), but some service policies (such as AR 190-14) restrict, regulate and/or limit it. Know before you go. But as stated, purchasing firearms in your state is allowed with your PCS orders.

What a great story! Here's Taffy (as mentioned in the video, he passed in 2016), and his account of the incident... https://www.danrostron.com/2013/10/14/wing-commander-taffy-holdens-inadvertant-flight-in-lightning-xm135/

  8. My memory isn't that great, but I believe it was due to whoever started the thread deleted their account. No meme, just a great pair and a nice car!
  9. It was moved from Molesworth over the Bentwaters in May 2016 and, thank God, repainted! It now sits just outside the museum (the old Command Post)... As far as I know, the fiberglass F-5 still sits outside the gate at Molesworth.
  10. Damn, you are correct! I guess my attention to detail is fading in my old age. The jet was from Ft Wayne, and not a FT bird at KAF with a live load! Fucking fake news!
  11. Worth a read for those who weren't around 20+ years ago...
  12. What picture are you talking about? This one? Yes, they fucked it up for some reason while adding the red arrow; but the unaltered version is clearer... It's from this video: https://www.siouxlandproud.com/news/local-news/emergency-landing-made-at-sioux-gateway-airport/1579184401 Source of pics: https://theaviationgeekclub.com/ang-a-10-makes-emergency-landing-after-partial-loss-of-canopy/
  13. It's been done before.. 80-0219 crashed on 4 April 1989 after doing a touch-and-go at RAF Alconbury due to a flashlight being left in the throttles assembly. Pilot ejected. That little beauty now stands proudly at the Bentwaters Cold War Museum!
  14. Surprised this hasn't been discussed yet... Nice (fake) pic!
  15. Let me know if you need any help...

Isn't that the whole purpose of jail? It's not suppose to be a fucking vacation resort that people want to go to!
