I think if we’re being honest we need to put ore emphasis and red team for expected attrition, at levels that would be very uncomfortable to the last few decades leaders. So we need more of all things, but particularly a shift towards a deeper roster of enablers to the ratio of final effects. Silver bullets are going to be a losing proposition. And there won’t be a one piece solution to this, it’s probably a package of assembled capabilities at a linear/ladder of positional input points to put an effect at a final point. Ways that we cheapen that is munitions/effects that can go further on their own, ways of executing denial to the opponent targeting cycle *especially on ground* and probably a big wings with booms/cargo space that feeds smaller wings that feeds to those forward logistics and extended mission platforms/ISR/strikers operating at distance. And we need to harden the F out of sanctuary points for those things that simply can’t hidden and have executable Survivability moves when conflict looks likely. Army and Navy is facing a similar issue in how to mass from assumed (key word) sanctuary to the point of where it’s useful in a world of cheap prevalent precision fires and threats. More to that story...when said worthless tub of goo's gun was found an email was sent to everyone threatening action. When they found out it was his gun it all went away...the worst part...the person that found his gun was his Command Chief who helped cover it up...integrity in all we do and such. Someone on this forum has very detailed info as he was in the middle of it...I won't out him but he has shared details in private. Cat 5 is a waste of oxygen and it one of the biggest failures of the Air Force that he was promoted, continues to serve, AND leads the next generation of sycophants that will graduate from USAFA.

Hey! If you don’t mind I’d like to share a bit of advice. Submit and Forget! That is a phrase I was told when I applied for OTS. Thinking about this constantly will drive you crazy. And it will get worse if you add in the fact that the government is shutdown so the office that should be processing things isn’t even in. If you’re selected this will be your last year in your current careerfield. So! Make memories, and cherish the potential limited moments you have left. If you aren’t selected, you should be set up for success next year because you can use this time to make yourself more competitive. I hope this makes sense. It’s okay to thing about it but don’t let it consume you.

It could be an F load better if we’d drop the “smokeless” requirement from the next version and tell the EPA to accept some new cocktails in its production. AGR-20 has been one of the best weapons we’ve produced in a long time.

A phenomena in AMC is once a pilot pins on O-6 they become retarded with flying. Another phenomena is sending retarded pilots who are terrible at flying, but great at being an exec and other worthless qualities, to a PHOENIX program to crossflow to another AMC MDS. The current idiot who’s the Chief of Flight Safety at Elmendorf is a prime example of this.

I just know these government officials need to get their act together and open the government and quibble about their issues where it doesn’t effect millions of Americans.

What’s going on everyone, just posting in here to stay engaged and just want everyone to be positive through the wait. Even though it’s very unlikely, we were going to find the results in a month. It’s uncertain how long the wait will be now with the current shutdown, just hoping that gets figured out sooner rather than later. I know all of us been waiting YEARS for us to get the opportunity to fly, but what’s a few more weeks?! Hope all is well but remind yourself, this is all worth the wait! 💪
