Routinely having my browser (Firefox 45.0.1) lock up with a particular "waiting for..." message when accessing BODN (and nowhere else). I assume it's an ad, and my caveman-level of ability to read what shows up when I navigate directly leads me to believe it's eBay.... Anyway, the specific site is: dco-cdn.w55c.net

First off we want to thank everyone for making this such an informative, interactive and interesting forum. Hopefully as of late you've noticed some site improvements and recent changes across the sites. We are far from done! We want to continue to build and improve upon the Baseops network. That being said, if you notice any dead links and/or information or content that is out of date, please let us know. It would be helpful if you could be as detailed as possible and we will see that it gets updated in short order. We have already had an influx of feedback and suggestions - please keep them coming! Again without you guys we wouldn't be where we are today…

Is there anyway to remove a 'Like' accidentally given to a post? I can remove the reputation point from the poster, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to remove the actual 'Like!' Cheers! M2

At some point over the past few weeks (maybe even months), for any Baseops page I open, the top tab continues to spin as if the page is still trying to load. The page is fully functional, but it's as if it's still trying to load up. It only happens with Baseops (forums and main pages), no other pages. It only happens with Mozilla (29.0), I'm using Windows 7. I've looked at the Mozilla FAQs and nothing seems to fit (it addresses the spinning, but only for websites that don't open or completely lock up).

How does one edit Qual level under other information in their profile?

This has been a problem for a while; just getting around to squaking code-2. I am only able to open ~1/4 of posted links at most. They neither open in the app, or push over to another browser. So if I'm really curious about a link, the fix has been to open up BODN in Chrome. Any fix within the app for this? Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network Forums

I changed my password intentionally (on the account settings page); however, every time I try to sign in with the new password, Baseops states the password is wrong. The only way to log in is to click “Forgot Password” and follow the email that is sent. It seems the site is not saving password changes properly.

E-mail notifications for thread subscriptions no longer appear to be coming through. Doesn't appear to be related to spam folder settings (no BaseOps/FlyingSquadron emails showing up there in my Gmail). In case it helps, the last notification I received on my subscribed thread was on December 4th and there were new posts starting on December 6th which didn't seem to generate e-mail notifications. Issue replicated by @M2 in this thread.

All, Phone apps are a work in progress again. You may have intermittent or complete lack of connectivity for the foreseeable future. Recommend using your phone's browser until I get it resolved. Thanks!

If your e-mail address is wrong on your baseops profile, and you get a "private" message in our personal message system, the e-mail bounces back to our system and clogs up the e-mail system. It takes a lot of extra time to clean that up, plus I don't wanna see Matmacwc talk to Deaddebate about getting crabs from a hooker in bangkok. But on a serious note, there's no need to jam up the server with bounce-back emails, so when you get the chance, please check your e-mail address in your profile. Or you can shut off e-mail notifications when you get a PM by clicking your name on the top right hand corner of this screen, and then choose "My Settings", then click "Notificat…

Recently upgraded to IE9. One behavior this site has that I have not seen on other sites: when I click on an external link, I get the new tab w/ the linked page--but I also get the current (baseops) page switching over to the new link (i.e., I end up with *two* of the link I just clicked on as well as being inadvertently navigated away from baseops). It's in the "minor annoyance" category, since a simple work-around is to hold down the CTRL key when clicking (gets you the link on a new page w/o advancing the current one--i.e., the desired behavior), and using the back-arrow for when I forget to do that. I'm guessing I'm just ignorant how to change things... But... When I click on a topic, it goes to the first page of that topic. I'd prefer it go to the last page... or better yet, to the first post since I was last on that topic. Is there a way to change that setting? Each topic shows up with a few sentences of the very first post of that topic. Is there a way to turn off those sentences, so that I can see more topics on the page without the extra text?

Anyone know how to download a forum / chat for offline reading? Got a long flight coming up and I'm trying to download a multiple page forum to catch up on some base ops reading. Thanks for any help.
