Anyone know how to download a forum / chat for offline reading? Got a long flight coming up and I'm trying to download a multiple page forum to catch up on some base ops reading. Thanks for any help.

How does one edit Qual level under other information in their profile?

BO.net, I noticed the eLearners distance learning ad is really slowing down load times when I try to access the forums homepage. Wondering if anyone else had this issue? Firefox tells me "looking up nexus.elearners.local" ~nsplayr

When I go into a thread that has multiple pages, if I click on the double right arrow (the one that takes me to the last posts), it goes to a page that has no posts, and the page is somewhat unresponsive. It does this on multiple threads I've tried.

This should be resolved now.

Anyone else with a Mac getting a malware warning when trying to access the Baseops.net jobs page at www.guardreservejobs.com?

I changed my password intentionally (on the account settings page); however, every time I try to sign in with the new password, Baseops states the password is wrong. The only way to log in is to click “Forgot Password” and follow the email that is sent. It seems the site is not saving password changes properly.

Hope everybody is happy to see BODN back! There were a lot of attacks occurring over the past few weeks. Today I was finally able to get access to the server side, unfortunately about 4 hours too late. Fortunately, I have been able to get the server restarted! So, there may be some down time and some new/different looking icons over the next 24 hours as I run much needed updates to our server.

Sorry for the SQL ERROR and the forums being down the last day or so. I finally got my customer support folks to fix this and am trying to learn what they did so I can resurrect it myself next time. v/r BASEOPS

How do you select your gender in your profile? Not that I really care, but it irks me everytime I look at my baseops.net profile and it says "Gender not set". :huh: I'll just add a big ol' "STS" here to cover everything before the jokes start to roll in... If so, see below. 1) In order for the video to actually show up instead of just a link, you must use a properly formatted address inside the "media" tags. Like the topic name says, I read the emails but they still show up as bold/unread and I get the red "2" next to the drop down messages header. iPad mini2 iOS 9.2 App version: couldn't find version info in app, but I'm not showing an iTunes update, so I assume I have the most current one. Cap-10

Recently upgraded to IE9. One behavior this site has that I have not seen on other sites: when I click on an external link, I get the new tab w/ the linked page--but I also get the current (baseops) page switching over to the new link (i.e., I end up with *two* of the link I just clicked on as well as being inadvertently navigated away from baseops). It's in the "minor annoyance" category, since a simple work-around is to hold down the CTRL key when clicking (gets you the link on a new page w/o advancing the current one--i.e., the desired behavior), and using the back-arrow for when I forget to do that. I've noticed after downloading the new iOS that when I click on a link in a thread, the new page that opens up doesn't have a back button or any other navigation options that let you get back to the thread you were reading. I have to go all the way out and open BODN back up. I'm sure somebody else out there much smarter than me has figured out how to get back.

Hey folks. Gonna be a little while before the next update to the Apple version of the app, but it's going to be a significant update when it finally goes through. Just an info note.

For several days, whenever I open the Baseops app on my iPhone, it shows no content under "unread." I thought signing out and back in (on the app) might fix things but now I cannot log back into the app. Whenever I try to login, I get a pop up with 50+ pages of error code. I have no issue logging in via safari on the iPhone or on my computer. Anyone else having this issue?

Type "flying squadron forums" into search bar. Google results will come up. Click on the obvious link to the base ops forums. Tell me if I'm the only one who gets redirected to random sights?

Apparently an individual with the profile name "uaeflyman" sent several PMs to people asking for help in locating flight manuals for the Su-24. His account has been flagged and banned, and all three of his IP addresses (Washington, Berlin, and Tehran - 46.36.116.56) have likewise been banned, so he should not be able to log back in with that account. You do not need to report any PMs you receive, simply delete them.
