iPhone app inop

Featured Replies

For several days, whenever I open the Baseops app on my iPhone, it shows no content under "unread." I thought signing out and back in (on the app) might fix things but now I cannot log back into the app. Whenever I try to login, I get a pop up with 50+ pages of error code. I have no issue logging in via safari on the iPhone or on my computer.

Anyone else having this issue?

Everybody else is having this issue. I didn't start a different thread about it, but I mentioned it in the Reputation thread. The app will be out of service UFN.

Update:

I've installed an older version of the back end software that the app needs to access the forum. It should work for the near rocks. Of note, if you ever have issues with the app, logging out and logging back in should help. Also if there's something wrong on the server end the app won't let you back in, which will save you battery life from your app constantly trying to access something that isn't there.

Having the same issue with the tapatalk and baseops.net app. Get a CSFR fail or something like that when I try to log back in to Base Ops on either. Can still see posts but only as a guest.  Samsung Galaxy phone.

Do you have Two Factor Authentication enabled?

I'm getting that same error and it appears I do not have TFA enabled.

Negative. It worked forever on my phone then stopped about a week ago.

Not sure if it matters but the website works fine on my phone, just the baseops.net and tapatalk apps giving the error.

Same errors and remarks as above.

I'm looking into it. Apparently something is wrong on the Tapatalk end of things.

The glass half full perspective is that I've learned I can say fuck using the website. Probably never go back.

Same login failure (csrf_fail).  On both:  Android galaxy tablet: baseops paid app and android phone: free app.

Ditto on my ipad

I miss my iPhone app

I've got a ticket in with the group that maintains the app...

While they're at it can they remove the swear filter on the app?

Finally got pushed up to a higher level of support. Still no results though.

Looking forward to getting this fixed...I like using the android app.

The team that builds the app will be randomly tinkering with the plugin and the site over the next 24 hours or so. Hopefully they can get it resolved soon.

Still same error on both free and paid  app on android phone and tablet.  Did the tinkerers give an ETIC?

They have not. I'm e-mailing them now.

yeah.

Can we get the swear filter removed from the app?
