  2. The military aircraft had departed from the city of Santa Cruz and crashed after landing and skidding off the runway onto a neighboring avenue, according to local authorities. . Looks like the airport is in the middle of the town. "El Alto is the world's highest international airport, located at 4,062 metres (13,327 ft) above sea level. The main runway "10R/28L" has a concrete surface and is 4,000 metres (13,123 ft) long."(wikipedia) Looks like they landed in the middle of a hailstorm...
  3. Confirmed...
  4. This has stat always referred to Air to Air. A Mudhen was lost in Libya as well.

  7. A friend at Laughlin told me that they had an overall pilot projection shortage for the year, and they had to augment their numbers by pulling from CSO/RPA/alternates/etc. Laughlin seems to have the best mx and moves the most pilots, so that’s played into it as well. Additionally, they’re implementing a new program combining T-38 phase and IFF fundamentals that they’re calling “FBF” (Fighter Bomber Fundamentals) which is expected to move more pilots through that track. Something “going down” made it sound more dramatic, but that’s all I know.
  8. Apparently this happened two days ago but got overshadowed by current events. A Bolivian C-130 crashed into a crowded street, killing numerous people. It was also transporting cash for their National Bank and riot police had to be called in to subdue looters.
  9. I know a few others who reached out. I’m on leave so I’m waiting until I get back. It’d be great if they simply provided an update to all UFT selects and we didn’t have to rely on a public forum for basic information.
  10. I also pinged them today since I haven’t heard anything yet.
  11. Per Wiki, two mud hens lost in ODS. SAM or AAA
  12. Qatar got two Su-24s so…possible
  13. Yea, I’m assuming it was a head-on shot too. Real lucky!
  14. IIRC, a couple Beagles were lost in Desert Storm
  15. Yesterday
  16. So anyone else push an email or hear anything today? We sent one for a couple of folks still waiting on all of our behalf. Figure we'll hear what's already been pushed on here, but the published guidance said to do so starting 1 March.
  17. What took you so long.
  18. Does this mean that Kuwait has to buy us three new builds coming off the line in St Louis
  19. I'm hearing it was a Kuwaiti F-18 that committed the frats.
  20. Isn't that 101-0 the Albinos stat line? I think some Mudhens were downed in Desert Storm.
  21. I remember F-16 and A-10 losses during DStorm but don’t remember any F-15 loses.
  22. Since the month just rolled over, maybe they didn't have the right IFF codes....or maybe the Kuwaitis are that stupid.
  23. Saudi F-15Ses have been downed to SAMs as well, so the perfect record stands I think? weren’t there USAF F-15E losses back in Desert Storm?
  24. Kuwait will be buying 6 of these, And 3 of these
  25. Huge screw up by the armed forces of Kuwait but if you have spent anytime there they still remember we came to help in 1991. Crazy footage of a local helping one of the downed aircrew. 26. Really glad they all got out, almost unbelievable result from a (assumed) Patriot engagement.
