The Iran “plan” is stupid. I’d keep targeting and killing all of their top leaders (high value military and igrc targets as well) until they’ve laid down with hands out in surrender. Pausing while they pretend to negotiate is as stupid as it gets.

Please check out the small sampling (posted below) of Trump’s posts from yesterday. Just yesterday. Take a look and ask yourself: is this person of sound mind? If I had a senior leader, say my WG/CC, whose daily social media footprint looked anything like this, …..what would I think? How would I react? What assumptions would I make about his character, his focus & priorities, and his fitness to lead (especially in a time of war)? Harris was no doubt a deeply flawed candidate to say the least. But to still pretend that Trump is the lesser evil is really an astonishing level of delusion and tribalism. As anyone honestly watching can tell, Trump’s give-a-shit meter is rapidly approaching zero. And who can blame him? He’s had to masquerade for over 10 years. Can you imagine how exhausting that must be? 10 years of pretending to know what you’re doing while you’re completely overwhelmed and out of your league? 10 years of trying to act smart or knowledgable while you’re actually a total ignoramus? After a lifetime of amassing personal wealth, running through wives and porn stars, seeking fame and attention on TV, to suddenly turn around and pretend to be selfless? Pretending to give a $hit about other people when you’re hard-wired to only care about yourself. Pretending to care about lying….to fake caring that in normal society, you can’t just obviously lie and have everyone go along with it? The facade, thin though it always was, is vanishing rapidly. The social media posts, aided by AI, far crazier than ever. The interview and press answers, more rambling, nonsensical, and demented than ever. The lying, now completely off-the-charts blatant and obvious, even to a laughable degree. The corruption and profiting from the office more overt and at a larger scale than ever before. Behind the facade is just the same old, stupid, bloated egomaniac that was always there. We’re now getting to the chapter where he doesn’t even have to try to fake it or hide his true self. “Holy $hit, how much crazier will he get?” honest people ask themselves. What will it be like when his give-a-shit meter is inevitably pegged at zero? This is a complete and total national embarrassment. Full stop. Every day. ….But anyway, yeah, thank god Harris isn’t in there. Phew. We really dodged a bullet.

Yeah, my CSS and leadership team are tracking my desire to apply, but beyond that, nothing from the group or the wing. I find it interesting that this is happening to all of us, I wonder if there is some sort of delay of info flowing from the top? My package is about 95% complete, just finishing up a few items. The IFC was the biggest item, and I am glad that is good to go.

To echo what Clearedhot and Bookiebird said, it's not an easy process and in my experience most of the people (outside the historian) you'll deal with will be neutral at best on whether you ever actually get the bird into the Airpark. First thing they'll probably ask is who's paying for it? The site prep, any plaques or monuments that will go with it, actually moving the airplane into the site etc. Second thing they'll ask is who's going to maintain it once it's in the Airpark. Your Airpark should already have some sort of MoA or MoU describing who's responsible for upkeep, the Historian should have it or be able to point you in the right direction (also very possible that the agencies appointed for upkeep aren't adhering to the agreement). DAFI 84-103 is the AF reg that governs/discusses Airparks, might be worth reviewing. Third thing they'll probably ask it some version of "why". This is a want to do, not a have to do, and it's going to require work from multiple agencies to make it happen. If you have higher level leadership buy-in (min O-6/base commander, ideally MAJCOM GO or higher) it will make this project and your life a lot easier. Somewhat and it is expensive and a pain in the arse. When all the AC-130H's retired we tried to get a few places to take one including the museum at Warner Robins. All retired aircraft technically belong to the USAF museum and they are generally ok to work with but the cost is VERY high. We were very shocked when Warner Robins said no thanks. They had been our depot for years...also, ALL of our software was developed and maintained there. A rather large community of civilians, military and contractors petitioned them but they said no de to cost. Even putting the plane in an airpark requires cleaning, painting and commitment to maintain. Look no further than the AC-130H parked at the front gate at Cannon...they have NOT taken care of it. Has anyone ever been involved in getting an aircraft put into an air park on base? Apparently there was one parked a few years ago with that intent and forgotten about. Looking to get the process moving again.

He’ll never be held accountable…it’s too polarizing of an issue, and the left refuses to admit they were wrong on most of this nonsense. Same with illegal immigration. Whatever occurs, I hope it is expedient. Fauci is 85 years old. He needs to be held to account for his actions before he succumbs to old age. Given the current glacial pace of things, I'm skeptical.

A pardon does not automatically force someone to testify, but it can reduce or eliminate their ability to refuse testimony based on self-incrimination for the offenses that were pardoned. Whether a particular witness can still invoke the Fifth depends on the scope of the pardon and the specific questions being asked. The complicating factors are that, like any presidential pardon, it covers only Federal crimes for conduct up to the date it was issued. In this case, that date is 20 Jan 2025 (Biden's last day in office). Fauci could still be prosecuted under state law rather than Federal law, Federal crimes outside the scope of the pardon, and future perjury or false-statement charges based on testimony given under oath.
