  1. Update! Flight med just sent over my stamped docs. Officially cleared for IFC 1! Hope your stuff goes thru quickly, fingers crossed!!
  2. Haven’t gotten the paperwork yet, but I see a 422(I think it was a 422?) and an updated 2992 on IMR. I plan to check in this week and see if they received the stamped paperwork yet
  3. Yeah, my CSS and leadership team are tracking my desire to apply, but beyond that, nothing from the group or the wing. I find it interesting that this is happening to all of us, I wonder if there is some sort of delay of info flowing from the top? My package is about 95% complete, just finishing up a few items. The IFC was the biggest item, and I am glad that is good to go.
  4. Good news here, I just got notification it was approved on IMR, and I went to talk to flight med and they said I should get my signed docs back early next week. Wicked quick turnaround, hopefully the same for you!
  5. Good luck! Finished mine last year and it was a rewarding yet incredibly challenging few months leading up to it!
  6. Finally got mine done Friday too! Started the process end of March and did not think it would take this long. Hopefully they send it to WPAFB ASAP, as I am definitely sweating the timeline 🥲. Fingers crossed! On another note, I still have yet to hear anything from my wing, but most of my documents are good to go, so I am planning to have them finalized here end of week ready to send when the request comes thru. Does anyone have any pointers / examples of their personal letter content? I want to keep it “personal”, without just saying “I want to fly because x,y,z”. As a non-rated CGO in the OG I have a lot of great leadership experience, but a lot of it was talked about in my letter of rec, so I want to ensure it isn’t redundant. Any thoughts appreciated! Good luck y’all!
  7. Hey y'all! If anyone was debating retaking the AFOQT, I highly-highly recommend. Last time I took the AFOQT, I had only a few hours and was in my Sophomore year of college. Retook it last Friday, and increased my pilot score to an 90 from a 47 originally. Bumped my PCSM with max hours (77) from a 64 to a 95! Definitely worth the couple months of studying (mostly for math, hah!). Excited to keep moving forward, now I just need to get my IFC finalized! Good luck everyone!
  8. Nice! Has your wing/group put out any suspenses yet? Haven't heard anything yet here so I am wondering what to expect given the board suspense is pushed back to October.
  9. This is great data. Thank you! I have been contemplating who/where my LOR should come from and have chatted w/ my Sq/CC about it, but I agree, don't want it to feel generic!
  10. First time here! Looking to retake the AFOQT here in a month or so, and then fingers crossed 🤞
