  2. RVS on the KC-767 works…ask the Italians or Japanese. USAF specified a different RVS system for KC-46.
  3. You guys are giving way too much credit to gulf states…it is horribly apparent how much they have no idea what they’re doing with all the equipment we sell them (nor do they appear to use any reasonable application of ROE, SPINs, etc.) It’s far worse than I imagined.
  4. Disgusting
  5. Ugh. John is a great dude but man am I tired of everyone trying to be an influencer.
  6. This video keeps getting removed from reddit and there are a lot of AI vids coming out of tictoc right now wrt Iran. Idk if they're deleting it because the DOW is asking them to or because it's AI, or both. Anyone have SA on its actual authenticity?

  8. Tried to tell you guys...
  9. Cuba is teetering on the edge, out of fuel, 90% of the island has been without power for the last 36 hours. If Trump cleans up Venezuela (not complete yet, Iran and Cuba)...Liberal minds will explode. Again, the dude is a narcissistic asshat, but he has done some good things. Still early on all three but at least not the status quo of the last 47-60 years.
  10. Water is wet
  11. Meh...show of hands: who's at all surprised by this? ...Beuhler? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember that we were openly providing UKR targeting/intel, on top of hardware and training.
  12. Russia is providing intel to Iran to target the US Military. The Jerusalem Post | JPost.comMoscow providing Tehran intelligence to target American f...Russia has reportedly given Iran the locations of US military assets, including warships and aircraft, since the start of the war.

  14. I’m sure many have similar stories from UPT, but one I’d heard was a Saudi student who failed Loadmaster training courses in the US, flew back home, and didn’t make it many steps off the jetway before being executed for dishonoring the Kingdom. In the airport itself.
  15. Being able to fully see behind the tanker with multiple cameras. Not being able to look through the deice/anti-ice fluid to try and make contact. Not having to cancel air refueling due to a cracked window. LWIR ability.
  16. Happy birthday to the 1st Reconnaissance Squadron at Beale AFB 113 years old today. In 1916, the 1st invaded Mexico to try to capture or kill Pancho Villa. Probably didn't get much per diem.
  17. I heard the pilot fell off the jet in chocks and shot himself in the head twice accidently....
  18. I actually have no doubt that it will be known for sure by the IC, and suspect it is already known. Whether the facts come to light after the war or the pilot is quietly disappeared only time will tell.
  19. Probably another factor working against it I wonder if this had gotten flying before the A330 MRTT if it would have found a launch customer
  20. I suspect the USAF can not afford the man power bill, unless maybe it's government owned, contractor operated like a few other bespoke systems.
  21. Same as Boomer6, video gone, if it was intentional I doubt we will ever know that for sure, like Egyptian Air 990, we know what probably happened but never proven for sure
  22. In what decade do you expect said growing pains to cease?
  23. That video has been removed. Can't find it elsewhere either.

  25. https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/s/YwPrabufO2 Assuming the video is real...the Kuwaiti Hornet was WVR when it shot this F-15. So...intentional fratricide?
  26. Disagree on Patel. I haven't found a better measure of a politician's value than their ability to handle a long-form podcast. Patel is not perfect, and he engages too much in the Twitter chest thumping nonsense that has become the status quo, but he's able to speak intelligently on anything he's asked, and he has guiding principals. That doesn't mean you have to agree with those principles, but it's refreshing that a politician at this point can even spell out what guides them in their decision making. And I don't find any of the frat bro stuff off-putting. I'm tired of politicians pretending like they're formal and keeping all of their immature/illegal/immoral nonsense behind closed doors. Just be honest about it at this point. I trust an FBI director who can smash a beer with an Olympic team a hell of a lot more than the colonels and generals we dealt with while we were in the military who pretended like they had never had a drop of alcohol once they were in power.
  27. What was gained from adding the remote boom pod? Truly curious.
