I find it shocking and frankly downright scary, the amount of people in this country, including people in positions of power, that believe the burden of proving your innocence should fall on the defendant.

Well, since the sim instructors at Altus all flew the A model, the young guys hear about it. All. The. Time. How many Altus KC-135 sim Instructors does it take to change a lightbulb? Five One to change it and four to tell you “how we did it in back in the A model.”

Back in the SAC days Tanker crews who were the last to land for the day usually got tasked to do power engine runs when water injection was required, when SAC went away AMC came down and told MX they could do all 4 to water, before MX was only allowed 2 to water. WORST officer I have ever run across in 21 + 12 years in and around Big Blue. Would've fit right in with the worst of the "What's Wrong with the Air Force" thread. But, since it's not a public information release like a commander being formally relieved, I will respect privacy issues. But when you are disappeared over a weekend from your office and given three months to "prepare for an upcoming PCS" to a non-command base-level job, I'm pretty sure it's over. Certainly hope so. And hope that getting fired stares him in the face every day until the final one. Still, the association caused me to re-evaluate my life and decide to retire at age 56. Not all bad came from it. Seems to me there’s a lot of Tesla scoffing wrapped up in political identity (electric cars are a liberal plot!) Probably a lot of Tesla fandom is about feel good environmentalism as well.
