I'm at work now (FAA) and we got a report of a possible Herk down near Itta Bena, Mississippi. No other details yet.

Update: Memphis center had them at FL200 and lost radar contact/comms with them

Also said it had a manifest of 9 on board.

Someone on TPN posted the unit the tail was from and a quick Google search showed they flew T models but obviously nothing has been confirmed.

Damn, I grew up in Newburgh next to Stewart ANGB and watching those Herks and (at the time) C-5's fly over helped inspire me to join the military and want to become a pilot. Truly a sad day. To those that were lost, as well as their families and friends
