You all have been reading biased news and sticking your head in the sand. You can read the files yourself. They are on the justice.gov websites. Why do some people have a tendency to want to not trust the news and instead trust dude bro podcasters when it comes to things like COVID #doyourownresearch, but then they do nothing/fall in line when it comes to things that could “hurt their worldview” like the Epstein files?

It’s intentional so they can not have to challenge their preconceptions and/or go against their tribe. You and they are receiving a strong push from those you align with that you will not be perceived well if you buy into this. The message is to just ignore it, don’t look at it, don’t think about it. Many sources commenting on multiple high profile people such as Trump, Israeli PM, Dershowitz, Bush, Clinton, etc. could be compromised at various levels.

There are good reasons why many are arguing that an apolitical look and investigation of people such as Trump, Clinton, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Andrew Mountbatten, Richard Branson, etc. are warranted. Of course there’s not a smoking gun. They gonna release a video of all these people abusing a child? That’s not the argument. The argument here is: is there sufficient evidence to support an investigation to substantiate or clear these claims? We know there were more abusers than just Epstein.

My recommendation: take a breather on the media propaganda they are trying to have you consume - it’s trying to make you think one way without literally any evidence. Look at the files yourself. Why would the media, who is owned exclusively by billionaires who benefit from the status quo, go out of their way to break this story? If you don’t get it yet, they want the system as it is.

Also, dont play politics with child rape conspiracies. And stop trying to make this a liberal v conservative slugfest. You come off like someone who can’t read or form any of their own thoughts.

The evidence in the files is much worse than any obtuse outside podcaster/talk radio argument they’re trying to feed you. And it’s not just one person or one party. It’s everyone that is rich. Honestly, the one thing I took away from this is that wealth of that magnitude corrupts humans. On top of that, this is just what they have intentionally released so far. There are millions of files, pictures, and videos that they have not.

Which side burned entire city blocks, torched police stations, and caused billions in damage during the 2020 riots—riots that left dozens dead?
Which side created “autonomous zones” enforced by armed mobs where people were shot and killed?
Which side spent years firebombing courthouses and attacking federal buildings in places like Portland?
Which side shot up a congressional baseball practice after being radicalized by partisan rhetoric?
Which side regularly labels ICE agents “Nazis,” a term historically used to justify violence against them?
Which side cheers assaults on political opponents as “punching Nazis” when the definition of “Nazi” seems to be “anyone who disagrees”?
Which side shot Trump in the ear, nearly missing his brain stem? Then tried again on a golf course?

Political violence is wrong—full stop. But pretending it’s some uniquely right-wing phenomenon while ignoring years of documented left-wing rioting, assaults, and intimidation isn’t principled. It’s willful blindness.

If you want to criticize Trump or Republicans, fine. Plenty do, including people here. But rewriting recent history to paint one side as uniquely violent while memory-holing the other is exactly the kind of bad-faith argument you used to push back against.
