Health & wellness check on everyone saying, “Oh you could never charge the President’s son!” Well he was charged, pled guilty, and reached a deal with the (Trump-appointed) US Attorney from Delaware David Weiss.

Go buy a gun illegally and not pay millions in taxes and see how many misdemeanors and dropped charges you get?

He pled guilty to basically nothing. The gun charge doesn’t require a plea, and under the diversion now he can’t be charged with anything pertinent to the case because that would be double jeopardy.

🤷‍♂️ I was told on good authority by Baseops, Esq. that he would not be charged and couldn’t be charged because he was being protected by The Big Guy.

I guess next time I’ll pay for my legal advice instead of relying on the Shitposter School of Law graduates we all are around here.

😅

Why is there no investigation?! (There was one since 2018)

Why are there no charges?! (Here they are)

But he’s guilty!! (He pled guilty to some of the charges and took a deal on others, which is common)

Rabble rabble rabble…nevertheless.

The fact you can look at those charges and refer to that as “not protection” shows how in the bag you are for “it’s ok and I’ll pretend I didn’t see it when my party does it.”

Again, between this or Clinton deliberately destroying her server hardware to deny investigation immediate access and somehow that isn’t obstruction…

Right bro. Totally on the level.

I'm just beginning to listen to RFK Jr as he's become popular of late. It's a bit of a chore, but so far it's interesting to be able to listen to someone from the other side and not immediately feel put off. Not that he could without being shot, but I'd like to see someone with his demeanor and common sense take on DC.

This is a man who believes wifi radiation causes cancer, that Prozac causes mass shootings, that W stole the 2004 election because of voter fraud in Ohio, and that vaccines cause autism.

If that’s you’re kind of “Democrat” it’s no wonder you’re a Republican! If this were the Dem party I would be a Republican too.

Luckily that’s not the case. RFKJ is a piece of crap conspiracy peddler. He’s Marianne Williamson with a dick and a better last name. Never will be President, never should be taken seriously, a disgrace to his name and I’d bet his father has been rolling in his grave for years listening to the volume and variety of BS coming out of his son’s mouth in public.

If you think he should have been given harsher charges or not given a plea deal, please take that up with the Trump-appointed US Attorney who brought the case.

For all his talk, Trump sure did a completely shit job of appointing people that share his corrupt “values” like viciously attacking Dems using the levers of government lol. Wray, Weiss, Judge Cannon, etc. When you pick the refs and still lose it really says something about your case.

I am in favor of prosecuting all criminals and holding them accountable. If you want to do that more widely and seriously for political and business elites, I say it again, your terms are acceptable. I have some ideas of where we can start!

Ya know the Dem President’s son was just charged and plead guilty to crimes.

I, a Dem, am fairly happy about that because he pretty clearly did some crimes and no one should be above the law.

Meanwhile all the Law & Order right wingers who hate Biden and longed for this even though they said very authoritatively that it could never happen are all pissed off and grouchy, as usual.

There is an FBI whistleblower testifying to congress that the DOJ has been taking action to limit and protect the son of the President, but you’re happy so I guess he’s wrong.

Let him/her speak then! Do it. If they’re correct then bring more charges. I don’t understand how you do not grasp my position on this issue.

That’s just the point you’re trying so blatantly to step around.

The method the justice department is charging him under negates the ability for him to ever be touched with that stuff again. He doesn’t even have to enter a plea to the Felony gun charge. It just goes away.

And the whistleblower did testify, about documents, and they nearly had to hold the FBI director in contempt to get redacted items from that testimony.

So Chris Wray (appointed by Trump) and Davis Weiss (appointed by Trump) are in a deep-state conspiracy to protect Hunter Biden? Ok…that is a take I guess.

If there are other appropriate and legal ways to investigate or charge Hunter, be my guest. Whistleblow to your heart’s content, let the truth be known and the corrupt among the powerful be held accountable.*

*if there is a case to be made and truth to allegations

Also from what I understand Hunter got a year probation for the gun charge, and after serving that it would essentially go away. I’m not a sentencing expert but that doesn’t seem out of the ballpark, it’s not like he used the gun to shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue!

If you want a more rigorous and strict federally-led enforcement regime for gun-related crimes, I am all in favor of that.

As I said, I've only begun listening to what he has to say. I had near zero knowledge of the man prior to a week ago. I'm open minded, where did he get those ideas? So far, I've only heard his vaccine and autism claim.

I was sort of expecting some sort of educated rebuttal to the issues you brought up... but instead, you just called him a "piece of crap" among other insults in a bizarre tirade. LOL What? Overreact much?

I actually did Google the medical issues you mentioned, because I am certainly not an expert, but I can read. There is compelling data in scientific journals both for and against those claims. I'll provide links if you'd actually want to critique scientific research papers in public. Perhaps I'm wrong, but It's as though you're trying to conceal that you have zero authoritative expertise on any one of those issues by being overly condescending.

You’re correct that I did not rebut RFKJ’s ridiculous claims, and I don’t plan on it. As to where he gets his ideas, IDK, aliens injected them up his ass when he got abducted maybe?

Vaccines do not cause autism. SSRIs don’t cause mass shootings. Your wifi isn’t giving you cancer. Bush won Ohio in 2004 despite my wishing he hadn’t. These are not controversial, “data on both sides” takes. But don’t take my word for it. Next time you go to your current family or personal doctor, I encourage you to ask about the medical conspiracies and see what he/she says.

I hate conspiracy theorists. Yes there are actual conspiracies in the world, but that doesn’t mean everything is a conspiracy. Occam’s Razor, uncertainty, and poorly executed plans explain like 99.69% of situations. It’s just a personality type I loathe and refuse to deal with. I sometimes take the time to rant or mock them because it is a little bit satisfying to dunk on people who are so consistently wrong.

If RFKJ wants to think the moon is made of cheese great, but GTFO out of here thinking you can be President or represent my party - you can’t and you don’t.

You’re wrong that this is “common.”  You or I would be in prison for over a decade doing what he is on video doing.  Standard Democrat two tier justice system in action.
—————————————————————————
Former U.S. Attorney Brett L. Tolman has slammed the plea deal offered to Hunter Biden by Democrat President Joe Biden’s the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Tolman said: “DOJ is violating its own internal policies on this case.

“The Ashcroft Memo requires they charge the ‘highest provable offense’ and seek consistent sentences with other cases brought by DOJ.

“This prosecution is an absolute laughable joke.

“Thousands have been sent to prison for long terms for the same charges. They are ignoring decades of policy and precedent to seek felonies not misdemeanors and seek sentences within the guideline range.

“The diversion agreement on the felony is offensive to everyone not politically connected who sought diversions and were literally laughed at by DOJ.

“Thousands of people have been prosecuted under Project Safe Neighborhoods by DOJ.

“They brag about getting nearly 5 years of prison time on average for their gun cases.

“If they followed policy, Hunter would be looking at a minimum of 5 years in federal prison.

“But he’s a Biden.

“Take a look at 18 USC 924(c) charges.

“Easy to prove given Hunter was distributed/dealing drugs with a firearm in his possession.

“Such charges were brought against thousands in inner cities across the country for last 20 years.

“Mandatory minimum sentences for all. Except Hunter.

“Since Hunter “brandished” his firearm during the commission of a drug crime, he would be looking at a mand min of 7 years in fed prison.

“DOJ could also add on top and min possession of child pornography if any of the girls were underage, plus on top of that years for tax evasion.

“If DOJ treated Hunter Biden like the thousands of no-names who get prosecuted he would be looking at decades in federal prison.

If Brett Tolman (Republican) wants to air these concerns, be should call up David Weiss (Republican) and harass him for being so soft on crime. I bet he can get his number from a mutual acquaintance.

If the case were so easy to prove and win a harsher sentence, why did the Trump-appointed US Attorney for Delaware pork it up so badly? It’s easy to talk a big game on cable, you even get paid handsomely to do so! It’s harder when it’s your name is on the case and you have to bring it in court for real I’m imagining.

So if you want more politically-driven slam drunk prosecutions of Dems, y’all gotta get your appointments squared away apparently. Sorry this one didn’t quench your bloodlust, even though I was told in no uncertain terms Hunter would never even be charged.

I for one want my US Attorneys to prosecute all criminals and seek sentences that are appropriate for cases they think they can win. No special deals but also no throwing the book at low level dudes, which we’ve unfortunately done a lot of over the years.

Maybe Trump had different criteria when filling these important positions in the federal government, IDK. Tolman should ask Trump during his next ring kissing session maybe.

Hard to blame the evil Dems here IMHO.

I don't know, man. Unless you're an actual doctor or a pilot, there's no way you can say this with any degree of authority. As I said, I do a fair amount of reading, and there are literally hundreds if not thousands of medical research publications, by actual doctors, that say that the probability is high. One quick search on one medical journal website yields countless results. I'm not saying the vaccines cause it, but the possibility is not zero, or even low.

Are all of these doctors conspiracy theorists? You can get similar results by searching the other issues you brought up. These reports may be right, they may be wrong, but you're certainly not in any sort of position to say which ones are or are not, and if you are being honest about finding truth, you'd see others have gone a great deal further in supporting their theories than you have. Just saying "I believe in Occam's razor in 99.9% of issues" is kind of lazy.

I think you're calling anything you don't agree with or want to believe a conspiracy theory. You're just articulating personal biases instead of presenting a rational thought. People with wealth and power often act in ways that are not in the best interest of others. It's not conspiracy, it's just human nature. To believe otherwise is pretty naive.

After what? Notice the lack of concern. 100% of your position is purely ad hominem. Why would I care what you take seriously?

Unrelated: Did you eat a lot of fish or chew on a mercury thermometer as a kid? I have a hypothesis. Doing some research. Gonna try to have it published at PubMed.
