I've seen the FAIP, "hook 'em all patch" but has anyone seen a patch that states "Pass 'em all and let stan/eval sort out the rest"? I heard there are some out there, but haven't seen any.

MWS Mafia patch - "Pass em' all, let check flight sort it out". I got mine from a buddy. Not sure where he got them.

  • I'm okay with this.  If you get to the point where you legitimately challenge Mardon's income, then we'll charge for advertising, but for now I'm happy to support the little guy.

  • Anyone know where to get a patch with Calvin (& Hobbes) wearing a flight suit and pissing on a UAV? I had one but lost it and can't find the site where I originally bought it from.

For patches try: www.embroidery.com.tw or email:Sing sing@mail.embroidery.com.tw

I have dealt with them previously for unit patches and they do a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. If you have a picture or a representation they will duplicate it.....really great to work with!

Anyone know of a good place similar to Jeans Alterations by Randolph (that sells pen tab patches), but up in the McChord/JBLM area? There are a few alterations type shops near the JBLM main gate, but they sell only Army stuff...

Try talking with Coinforce outside the front gate. Also look into aviatorgear.com

*edit look at prior post on nametags4u-another good site I have used for custom patches as well

If you ever make it to Kadena go to Tigers Embroidery (off base)-they can make anything and have it finished within 4 hours.

Coinforce is cool but 95% of their business is coins...they can custom make patches in orders of 100 or more, but no dice on individually sold morale patches there. Anyone know of somewhere else in the area?

What companies are you guys using for squadron nametag orders besides Mardon?   We're done with their 1995 business model and continually screwed up orders.

I don't know if they ship but most of the squadrons at HRT use a local shop called Lookin Good in Stitches. They are relatively quick and do great work. It might be worth calling them to see if they'd ship to you

Can anyone tell me if PVC patches are prohibited by any regs/instructions/etc?

I saw several UPT ones while at the centrifuge at Brooks a few weeks ago, and have seen pics of a few bomber units' ones as well; but I was asked if they were allowed and honestly I have no fucking clue...

Curious: Who's asking you?

Honestly, haven't ever looked it up because it never occurred to me; not even a blip on my radar past, "oh, new patch. That's cool."

Do you mean that kind of rubberized patch thing versus the traditional cloth?

Just say yes, it’s authorized.  I’ve been prosectuing that COA for uniform questions the past 15 years, it works.

If leadership at UPT bases are approving pvc patches you're good. If they can make it through that legalistic nightmare I think it's safe to wear them.

Probably a safe bet. We went through at least 6-9 attempts for approval of ours. Would hate to offend anyone...or reference hooking rides. That never happens in UPT...

bomberpatches.com  The guy who owns the company is a reservist at KBAD and good dude.  He's a big proponent of PVC patches., which is why you see most of the Buff squadrons rock them for Red Flag, deployments, etc.  Take a look at the website.  He's also a graphic designer and does solid work.   It's not just bomber stuff now, eitiher.  He's made stuff for a bunch of different units.

Anyone have any SA if mardon is still open for business?  Tried calling all the lines listed on their website the last several days and never an answer.  No response to email either.

No clue on Mardon.  Hopefully they are long gone.  Absolutely terrible customer service when we dealt with them.

Placed an order with Mardon 3 weeks ago. Was told 3-5 weeks for production plus 7-10 business days for shipping.

I use Ramaworld out of Riverside California.

They do everything in house. Including scarves.

Mardon Co. had my order in a six month backlog, when i called to get an update they stated it was because of some business difficulties and machines were down. I cancelled the order. I had used them for years...never again.
