  1. Even thinking about drones. Is there any benefit (operational, psychological) in making a cockpit type environment for the crew? Would we see increased positive outcomes by building augmented environments for them to operate within. Make it feel more like they are in the aircraft and actually over the target area. The expense might far outweigh any benefit, but the ability to realistically do this is almost here.
  2. Probably included both AR and VR in the actual examples I used. AR seems to really allow using less expensive to operate aircraft to simulate 5th gen capabilities (Red6’s current focus from what i understand). So flying 4th gen or even earlier training type aircraft to reduce cost while augmenting feel/performance/capabilities to simulate the caps of 5th gen friends and adversaries. My thinking, from a tech guy perspective, is that our focus seems to be on VR (perfecting simulations) in current training but with an eye towards blurring the line between VR and AR. Not sure, but guessing that as VR and AR capabilities advance we’ll be able to reduce training costs. And, as these tools advance in realism, we’ll be able to maintain realistic proficiency for experts and not just training for students. My university has tech labs set up for VR and I’ve done some work with them on training programs for TN law enforcement. Just wondering aloud how these technological advancements in both VR and AR are going to shake out.
  3. I know Red6 is deeply involved with augmented reality (AR) in the fighter pilot training environment but are they working with the Air Force on UPT 2.5 and/or sim only UPT? the more realistic the simulated flight environment is, the better you’d expect outcomes to be for the student. The better AR gets i can see it being used more and more for all types of training including pilots, firefighters, surgeons, swat/police, etc. It’s not cheap, but cheaper than actual flight and if advances continue, i expect more AR type training and less actual flight time for all future pilots.
  4. I know he doesn’t have a chance, but Vivek def seems to say the right things.
  5. Hyperbole much Mark1? He’s a douche but def didn’t do everything in his power to overthrow anything. The left knows that but still insists on wild exaggeration (you still working for msnbc?). Sadly I’m afraid in 2024 we’ll have to choose again from 2 liberals (the incumbent leaning hard towards leftist now) who are mostly in it for themselves. Where are visionaries and strong servant leaders when we need them. If dementia Joe dies before the election, we’ll be stuck with Kamala (ygtbsm) to finish out and then an election with Newsom or Buttplug running, which will mean we’re still screwed by incompetence and irrationality.
  6. Driverless cars will require a 100% participation approach to realize any claimed safety and efficiency gains. All cars linked together in constant communication. It will also require limits on spontaneity (the lead time for changes to routes/destinations/intermediate stops) which many times is a cause of issues/crashes currently. It will be interesting to see development over the next 10 to 20 years.
  7. He usually has pretty well thought through analysis. In this case, sadly for the country, we seem to be headed right where he’s predicting.
  8. The non radical democrats vote against women’s sports.
  9. NS listed at least one in his last post … Chuck Schumer is a complete leftist douchebag! add Nancy P and a few other influential leftist leading his non-radicalized, non commie, doesn’t care about DEI party

  11. I’d suggest going back and rereading history with a more open mind to the truth. Overwhelming secular humanism in the modern West is why we’re where we are currently and their intent is to eliminate Christianity and welcome in the current gender confusion and all the other alphabet nonsense. Just because humans are fallen creatures prone to sin, doesn’t mean Christianity is wrong or has caused any of the examples you threw out. And without it, I shudder to think where the world would be. I recognize terrible things have been and are still done in the name of Christianity, but adherence to Christianity caused the Western world to grant rights to women and see them as equal partners with men, finally free the slaves (way later than it should have happened), recognize the inherent dignity of each person, value human life, value the nuclear family, value classical education (schools in NA were all founded by Christians), value individual liberty and freedom from oppression, etc etc.
  12. The Bible, from Genesis to Revelation lays out the order in this world and in God’s design (even the relationship between Christ and the Church is illustrated by the bridegroom and the bride). The whole Bible unapologetically claims the only sexual relationship that is within Gods will/plan is between a husband and wife. Anything sexual outside of that is sin. You’d have to ignore the whole Canon of scripture to believe that homosexual activity is not sinful. As far as that research, pew research also showed that more than 50% of claimed Christians in America also claim to believe that casual sex is not sinful. Almost 25% also claimed that Christ’s death and resurrection are not necessary for reconciliation with God the Father (salvation). There’s a ton of secular Protestants and Catholics who claim the label of Christian but don’t actually believe in Biblical Christianity. Only God knows their heart, but denying necessary Christian beliefs and claiming Christianity seems suspect. I acknowledge we’re all hypocrites too often, but disbelief in essential doctrine is more than hypocrisy. https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020/08/31/half-of-u-s-christians-say-casual-sex-between-consenting-adults-is-sometimes-or-always-acceptable/
  13. Prozac, Every Christian in the world believes your example. That belief and statement is not controversial at all except by the alphabets and their cheer squad.

  15. Here’s your competition. They might have you by 50 lbs.
  16. And right now there are significantly more woman to man pretenders than man to woman. They’re all delusional, but you might be right that money will have to flow from women to men before women start to pay attention.

  18. Yes, according to what i could find online
  19. Trannies on the attack at SFSU. Collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines was speaking about the unfair advantage that male swimmers (athletes) enjoy in swimming and most other athletic events when competing against women. She was actually hit twice by a trannie and chased into a room by the mob and was barricaded in the room for an hour or more before enough police officers arrived to facilitate her escape. Of course no charges and SFSU faculty and staff are saying it was a peaceful protest.
  20. No doubt, even week long tdy in the PI was shocking. You couldn’t walk anywhere off base without someone trying to sell you their sister. Made me sad to see what a U.S. base attracted around it, even though it did result in some epic stories and folklore.
  21. We wouldn’t really be talking about this stuff if the dems and this administration weren’t so full retard on all the grooming homo/trans stuff. I’ve never seen a more illogical fanaticism for such unhealthy, immoral, and dangerous ideology. There is nothing beneficial to the individuals involved or the society that allows and fosters this type of insanity. And, it’s downright destructive for the kids caught up in the madness. Heck ole demented Joe and that whack job spokesperson were blaming 9 year old kids in Nashville for their own death at the hands of a trannie. Saying the poor trannies had to respond since all of us are trying to kill them. I know we’re a constitutional republic and that allows complete individual liberty, which i wholly support and swore to defend, but that doesn’t mean the government should encourage and incentivize unhealthy and destructive behavior or ideology. And it def doesn’t mean we should let adults screw up our kids.
  22. So much for standing up for women’s rights in college athletics. Dudes in drag will be ballin’ in women’s college sports. https://www.npr.org/2023/04/06/1168460726/biden-title-ix-transgender-sports-ban
