  1. Negatory As Brabus and Lloyd said we don’t owe you an argument. Most on here who claim to be, or lean conservative sound like they aren’t too happy with either party. I’d love to go back to a much much smaller government but neither party is willing to move in that direction at all. I don’t believe the government’s role is to do everything for us (food stamps, welfare, schooling, jobs, hold our hand, etc). But, I also don’t want to go back to 1600-1700s and prior where the majority of people around the world lived in abject poverty and were days away from dying all the time. We are better off than we’ve ever been (certainly in the West anyway) and yet we still demand more from those who are willing to work and less from those who aren’t. Here’s a start, off top of my head, to your desired knowledge on my beliefs for rules/policies/guides. 1 A turn back to more personal responsibility and obligation and away from the selfish “you owe me” thinking would be a good first move. 2 A concerted effort to completely squash all identity bs across the board. Encourage normalcy and don’t champion fringe identities (e.g. trannies, pedos, drugs, anti-social behavior). Protect individual rights, but don’t encourage (overtly or covertly) behavior that is antithetical to human flourishing and traditional family formation. 3 Strong law and order culture (from the top down to man on the street). But also hold police and authority figures to the same standards. Full weight of law against those who abuse their power (no cya for authority figures). 4 End all immigration (incredibly rare one-offs if absolutely necessary) for 10 years minimum. Deport all illegals and fine (confiscate all wealth) from those who don’t self deport. Root out those who are here legally but aren’t integrating (looking at you MN, MI, maybe others) and denaturalize and boot them out (tough to identify all, but the most obvious is criminals). Offer guidance and assist local communities with integration. Information only (not a bunch of funding for more bureaucratic bs programs). 5 End all government assistance to those who apply to immigrate. Make them prove self sufficiency like most other countries require. 6 End birthright citizenship except for current legal citizens. Just because you snuck in, or are even legally visiting our nation, doesn’t make your kids citizens. No dual citizenship ever. 7 Stop all foreign aid to countries who’s governments don’t align with traditional American values (rights, policies, etc). We might still have trade relationships with all nations (with some stipulations as necessary) but no foreign aid. 8 Roll out Dodge 2.0 on steroids and actually follow through with gutting most federal programs. Make every department justify every dime they spend, including funding required to justify their budget. It’s astounding the amount of waste in our 7 to 8 fricken trillion dollar (and still increasing every year) budget. That’s a start. Poke holes all you want.
  2. I posted elsewhere about it. I’m pretty sure he was talking out of his posterior as usual since buying votes is obviously illegal. If we posted every time one of our politicians said something stupid we’d be on here all day every day.
  3. Not aviation related, but an interesting interview about China transitioning (governance structure) from dynasty to socialism and ultimately to communism. A minuscule number of numbnuts, backed by Russia, “led” millions of people into full retard mode. Then proceeded to kill millions of them (war, starvation, and government purges) during the move to full authoritarian communism.
  4. I didn’t know Dolly, but got to meet her and other Grand Ole Opey stars during the Fall of 1983. I worked summers at Opryland during college and for 1 Fall I was an usher at the Opry. She was tiny (5’ if she was lucky) but had the biggest smile and personality of them all. She would take the time, when she saw us knucklehead ushers, to come over and say hello and thank us. Thoughtful and down to earth. Most of the country stars were down to earth back then (e.g. Stringbean, Grandpa Jones, Roy Clark, Roy Acuff, Barbara Mandrell, Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, … and of course Dolly). Fun times. The best job I had (even @ $3.75 an hour) other than flying in the AF.
  5. Maybe not jail, but she should never be free again. Strangled her 3 kids one at a time. Insanity is never an excuse for murder. Tragic and absolutely abhorrent situation.
  6. The Iran “plan” is stupid. I’d keep targeting and killing all of their top leaders (high value military and igrc targets as well) until they’ve laid down with hands out in surrender. Pausing while they pretend to negotiate is as stupid as it gets.
  7. Clark your post reminded me to post again… Mayorkas should be imprisoned immediately (for the rest of his life).

  10. Sadly this is so true. Even lame duckers refuse to make the long term correct decision and just compromise for short term approval. And, we as citizens overwhelmingly respond to the shiny and glittery (hollow) instead of the substantive and enduring. Both sides of the aisle give us what we (the masses) demand instead of what would benefit us long term.
  11. I’m not defending anybody so calm down. I was asking for a specific example where he extended his executive power further than others have. You gave an example of a court action, but many administrations have sued to get thing done or undone. I didn’t like the whole $1.8 billion fund either so chill out. You spun up pretty fast for just being asked for clarification.
  12. Disgrunt, Can you give examples that weren’t done by Obama or The Auto Pen? Those two used all kinds of executive power, they just had the media, social elites, and their own party backing them with/in complete compliance.
  13. Iran is a unique lone actor in the world. As outlined by a few high iq intelligence experts; they have 3 dangerous characteristics that most of the other current “bad actors” don’t have. They have 1) an ideologically extremist state leadership in place, they have 2) a decently effective war fighting machine with the ability to wreak havoc in their immediate area, and 3) they have the desire to force their ideology on other nations and people groups. A dangerous trifecta that historically (recently) included nazi Germany. In case disputes of my claim arise … I am fully aware that we could also include the communist and socialist countries of Vietnam, Cambodia, N Korea, Russia/USSR, and China (they all have or had at least portions of all 3 to varying degrees). I don’t think these nations are as dogmatic as the islamists are in their attempts to burn and/or conquer foreign lands. if the leaked agreement points are valid, I’m not too pleased and hoped for much more demand and way less (none) reward or compensation. I’ll reserve full judgement until all the details are fully known (actionable plans and oversight).
  14. holy crap, loop entry at -1500’ and exit at -900’. I would have smacked the dude’s helmet if I’d been in there (after i cleaned my drawers). That beast has pretty impressive maneuverability. ** Biff’s going to sport wood when he sees this.
  15. Definitely a babe, but I’m not digging the saline/silicone enhancement. Not that babes who look like that care, but I prefer au naturale.
  16. I’m not sure it was appropriate during a Memorial Day speech, but 10,000,000 illegals coming through (most completely unvetted) in 4 years is definitely an invasion. Mayorkas should spend his remaining days in a federal (max security - no frills - death row type) prison.
  17. Yeah I don’t understand so many officer’s inability to say “yep, i thought I saw that, my apologies, please drive safely.” We all screw up at times, how difficult is it to say “I’m sorry” or “my bad”? Unbelievable hubris.
  18. Y'all's delusion is real. We've acknowledged ad nauseam that Trump’s mouth and ego continues to get in his own way. Theres a new clownshow daily, but even so, its still better than kamala and the left could do. Nobody on here is claiming total victory. We do have them by the short hairs but their lack of concern for their people allows them to stall. It’s an ugly situation, but continuing to accept the monumental boning the worlds endured over the past 50 years wasn't winning either. Something needed to be done. in my opinion, the strategy chosen to prosecute offensive action was not optimal, and I’d guess everyone here has their own opinion on how the IRGC should have been handled. Most of us on here don't have all of the American/Israeli intelligence available to consider. I’d have preferred a complete blockade (in and out) of Iran (oil, food, manufactured goods, everything) in conjunction with physically targeting all of their leadership. But again Im glad I’m not the one having to make these type of world impacting decisions.
  19. Pretty impressive landing roll. Actually a no roll. T/O is incredible as well. I’m not sure the tires even rotated fully.
  20. You forgot about their terrorism for the past 50 years in your statement, but really went off the rails with this doozy. In no way imaginable was the agreement working. Iran continues to break every agreement we’ve ever had with them.
  21. Agreed, TN blows, don’t move there. It’s the worse state in the union by far and everyone needs to quit moving there since it’s so terrible. I would never even consider moving there, especially if I had blue hair, was a trannie, a liberal, or otherwise wanted to ruin this great nation by fixing all the “right wingers”. Let that place stew in its own misery. PS: MS can have Memphis and thereby reduce crime by about 85%.
  22. I still don’t understand why we have apparently sat on our hands while “negotiating”. Hopefully our guys are still killing all appropriate islamists in their government on the downlow.
  23. I appreciate hearing from those who critique actual policies and political positions of our elected representatives. It’s interesting to see such diverse takes from the same data, depending on one’s worldview. I’d argue that most of us are a little jaded from seeing the laws our elected officials pass and the bureaucrats who administer them, continuously do the expedient thing, rather than the correct for the long run thing. Then, when discussing the “other side”, tribalism with a touch of personal bias attached skews our view of things. I think most of us attempt to filter our bias to some degree. Personally the discussions here (at times) make me check my beliefs on geopolitical, financial, and social policy issues/topics. But having said that, I do appreciate a good street brawl on occasion about topics people feel passionate about even if I have no skin in the game.
  24. Is this really the uniform (blues) for space force command? I hated the blues as they were in the late 1980s, but if these, shown here, were required I’d have gone awol. That looks like old school Star Trek reimagined by some light-in-the-loafer AA flight attendants.
  25. That better be empty.
