  1. Crap pilot, went to ENJPT - came out with a KC-135 (nothing against my tanker bros). Mentioning his name in the U-28 community will cause a mass outbreak of PTSD. He was deemed by leadership, "too years many BPZ to fail" - like Cat-5. While DO his squadron had extreme morale and execution issues, they crashed an plane at Hurlburt. He was home, his SQ/CC was deployed...they fired the SQ/CC, eventually gave him command of the RTU and promoted him AGAIN BPZ.
  2. I know for a fact he is blackballed from "some" Industry...numerous folks have stepped in to make that happen. Sadly he will consult or one of the big that doesn't care will hire him.
  3. Ironic that it took and an Army GO to end this clown. Hearing USAFA is NOT a done deal. Also heard next AFSOC/CC will be a bit of a surprise...someone jumping the line.
  4. Iran at it again. Iran declares Antarctica its property in direct challenge to Biden, global treaty
  5. "We" are not the only ones running risk calculus. ‘Who said we don’t attack Iran’, Israel will not allow Iran to become a nuclear state" - Netanyahu Jan 19, 2024.
  6. Surprising no, destablizing yes. It would ignite an arms race in the Middle East...KSA would be off to the races to get one. Could also be something in Russia.
  7. "an urgent matter with regard to a destabilizing foreign military capability that should be known by all Congressional Policy Makers." My guess, we let Iran get a Nuke.
  8. I said it in the other thread, what is old is new...just slap a Slife label on the side of it.
  9. Back in the hospital, at least he transferred power THIS time. Defense Secretary Austin hospitalized with bladder issue, transfers powers to his deputy
  10. I put my application in last night. Raptor to Hurlburt or don't call me back.
  11. There was an initial message, later corrected, that said VRRAD did not count towards TIS. I heard it as well.
  12. We always overlook the "Mom vote"...I think she will sway enough to be a threat to Trump.
  13. His impromptu news conference last night was a complete abortion. Peter Doocy started the "failing memory" line of questioning which led to an insult from Biden, luckily another reporter followed up. The look on Biden's face the entire time...eyes squinted as he struggled to answer. The worst part, after saying there is nothing wrong with his memory, he referred to Egyptian leader Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as the “president of Mexico. This happened the same week he referred to François Mitterrand, who died in 1996, instead of French President Emmanuel Macron and the late Helmut Kohl instead of former German Chancellor Angela Merkel. And still our liberal friends are "mostly happy" with what is going on.
  14. BQZip's mom had the night off?
  15. This is why we can't have nice things. Billions and BILLIONS wasted on this program that the Army has now decided to cancel. While the Army spent $6B, industry spent 3X that chasing the program. Most of you have these defense companies in your 401K so you get a double kick in the nuts as both a tax payer and investor. And as is normal, no one will be fired or held accountable. Disgusting waste. US Army spent billions on a new helicopter that now will never fly
  16. The scenario quietly playing in the background, and the one that scares me the most... Dems get to the Convention and Michelle comes sweeping in to save the day. Maybe then she could finally be proud of her country.
  17. It never ends with this POS. US FAA mandates Boeing 737 MAX rudder loose bolt inspections
  18. The other major story today played out in the SCOTUS. Jason Murray representing six Colorado Republicans who filed suit last year to remove the former president from the ballot, and Shannon Stevenson representing the Colorado secretary of state argued in support of the Colorado decision to remove Trump from the ballot. I listened to most of it and was pleasantly surprised to hear the liberal leaning justices asking some of the toughest questions. At one point Murray was on the ropes and had to admit that if they were "procedurely wrong, then the case was dead right there"...then he went to their insurance policy where he stated if the Democrats win the house they can vote to disqualify Trump before he can be sworn in. Isn't that overturning an election?
  19. The nit wit in chief is actually on TV touting the resulting of the investigation into his mishandling of classified information. He actually just said "Over my career in public service, I have always worked to protect America’s security. I take these issues seriously and no one has ever questioned that," Some highlights from the report: Special Counsel Bur described Biden as "a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory." The investigation "uncovered evidence that President Biden willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen." "Mr. Biden wrote his 2007 and 2017 memoirs with the help of a ghostwriter. In a recorded conversation with his ghostwriter in February 2017, about a month after he left office, Mr. Biden said, while referencing his 2009 Thanksgiving memo, that he had "just found all the classified stuff downstairs." - He knew and it was purposeful. "Mr. Biden's ghostwriter and destruction of evidence. After learning of the special counsel's appointment in this matter, Mr. Biden's ghostwriter deleted audio recordings he had created of his discussions with Mr. Biden during the writing of Mr. Biden's 2017 memoir. The recordings had significant evidentiary value." "Marked classified documents about Afghanistan. These documents from fall 2009 have classification markings up to the Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information level. They were found in a box in Mr. Biden's Delaware garage that contained other materials of great personal significance to him and that he appears to have personally used and accessed."
  20. Initially messaging said no TIS increase only TOP 3, looks like that was adjusted which is common sense. In the current job market I don't see the business case to give up 100% of a better paying job PLUS 50% (or more of retired pay), AND VA payment all for a retirement bump of $2800. Del Rio, Cannon, Minot among the most popular. So all the active duty folks with commitment and no choice will get the undesirable assignments...
  21. Pentagon believes it has identified problem behind Osprey crash that killed 8 Air Force crew members
