For one of my masters classes I am going to conduct a needs assessment on a specific veteran unemployment/reemployment program or initiative to determine whether or not is has met its intent. After scouring the interwebz for hours, I really haven't found anything that has enough data to do any sort of research on. Does anyone know of any programs or initiatives like this that I could possibly use? Does the AF use a specific program for separating personnel?

This seems to be the trend and us young guys are catching on. I'm a 1Lt with SOS in-cor done and already have a BAC+. Many of my bros are in the same boat. It's such a time waste to have to get this stuff done now but we know if we don't we'll be behind the power curve. I think when our Maj board rolls around 99.69% of us will have SOS and a Masters, so who knows what the discriminator of the week will be.

You just hit the jackpot with that gig, congrats. Like mentioned above, Stone Oak is nice but the traffic is horrible. There are back roads, but either way it's going to take at least 30 minutes to go 15 miles from your house to the front gate. Schertz and Cibolo do have nice homes, and Garden Ridge has even nicer ones if you have that kinda coin. Any of those choices would be better options as far as the commute goes. My wife and I are both from SA, so if you have any specific questions, just ask. I know M2 has a lot of good info also.

The death toll number has gone from 2 to 12 to 3, so who knows what it is. Either way, sad day for aviation.

Bringing this back to the top. Anyone else have want to chime in with their personal experience that day? I don't care about the stories of people sitting in science class or sleeping at their dorm. I want to hear about those that were in the air, in the chocks, sitting at the scheduling desk, etc.
