It sucks to give TERA then take it away, regardless of the person's sexual orientation. I don't necessarily understand the trans movement (probably never will). That being said, if they were promised retirement and it was taken away, then that's bad form.
I wish I could show the rest of the country what California looked like 30 years ago versus today. The democrats have ruined this place.
The fucking Palisades burned down (looks like 2005 Baghdad). They couldn't even protect the most wealthy Californians.
I imagine Putin is getting closer to launching a nuke. He can't really afford to lose more troops and iron. I think he's going to get desperate enough to push the button.
I agree. It's a dumb to fly under landing traffic. Especially with no safe separation provided for both aircraft.
They should have not been cleared to continue on route four via visual separation at night with an aircraft circling to land 33.
They used to not clear you to continue on route four via visual separation with landing traffic to 33. They would have you hold over Haines Point or something similar.
Easy fix: Don't clear someone for visual separation on route four if there's an aircraft on short final to 33.
Complacency from both Tower and the Helo caused this.
If you fly at or below (not above) the required altitude for that route, the helicopter route worked. Also, if you hear any aircraft cleared to land on the runway that crosses said route, use your hands and maneuver the helicopter out of the path of said runway. If you're cleared to maintain visual separation, you need to do so.
If the Lt only wants to fly and doesn’t care about promotion, it's a good gig. Flying a hands-on aircraft for a few years then switching to another MWS (assuming they cancel the mission) doesn't sound too bad (once again if the Lt doesn't care about making rank).
