  1. I doubt there is a much dirtier energy than lithium ion batteries from materials mined and largely assembled in countries that either only pretend to follow environmental agreements or don't even pretend to try. And that's not even starting with the slave labor problem.

  2. 500M hog watcher is a crazy job offer. I'd be in for 1/4 of that as long as I never have to disclose what I do.

  3. We could save even more money by getting rid of UPT all together. AFA/ROTC/OTS straight into Viper or C-17. No need for the T-6 or those sweet UPT locations. Let the operational units figure out how to train them. The money we saved from UPT can be used to regenerate all those MWSs we lose during the pilot training process. Also, give everyone in the AF wings. They (non combatants) all know how easy flying is anyways. Shit let's just call every airman a Pilot. No more Pilot shortage.

  4. Not sure it's a great way for pilots to get out early. I saw a dude wait until after dropping a viper to tell his flt/cc he was a conscientious objector, so they sent him to tankers. He's apparently fine with enabling everyone else to kill, as long as he's not the one doing it.

  5. Anyone buying EVs or anything with batteries who says they're doing it for the environment or "social responsibility" is living in a fantasy world.

  6. I like the combo for redundancy and the newer vertical axis wind generators are far less obtrusive and take up little room. Don't want to derail this thread but doubt there is enough interest for a new thread. There is a guy int he North East who built an solar hydrogen offgrid system that powered his entire house and provided for all of his transportation almost 20 years ago. Cool video on his set up. Tech has changed and prices dropped and it can be done for far less today.

  7. I’ve been impressed with PSA prices and services. Any thoughts on quality of their own branded stuff? Prices are kinda amazing. On the subject of quality, keltec? Thanks

  11. I was gonna say the better comparison would be the jackasses stateside telling us that war over there wasn’t our problem and what Germany was doing wasn’t really that bad. Luckily some of our grandfathers didn’t gargle Reddit level stupid coming out of a coordinated IA campaign. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  13. Saw these on China, seems like a fissure to exploit and return the favor to the CCP… And https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/violent-attacks-in-china-fuel-concerns-some-are-taking-revenge-on-society/ar-AA1uM4bG They send us fentanyl precursors, spies as students and sleeper agents… let’s make this worse for them.

  14. I used to have a '76 Olds Omega, same color. 260CI V8 with stock Rochester carb and the mighty Turbo Hydromatic 350 tranny. I put on air shocks to lift the ass off the the saggy leaf springs, fat tires, cut off the rusted muffler, put in some cheap china speakers with a tape deck radio and wore out all my Columbia House 1 cent cassettes of Van Halen, Quiet Riot, AC/CD, ZZ Top, etc. Then I gave it to my brother and he wore out his Columbia House 1 cent cassettes. Here's a 70's cop show tune
