  2. Concern about the F-47 https://www.19fortyfive.com/2026/02/the-f-47-ngad-is-the-maginot-line-stealth-fighter/ Cut bait and reinvest or follow thru and hope it doesn’t turn into a white elephant? Estimates are about $50 billion to restart and produce 190+ aircraft but… is that cheaper, less risky and relevant? Likely a stretched and modernized version probably modestly more expensive but addresses issues with the original design
  3. They had to zoom out so much to fit all of Cat 5 in the shot that you can see more stars on the flag. (yes, i can tell that's not quite right...but neither is how epically fat Cat 5 is)

  5. I’ll make this simple: Do you support requiring an ID to vote? And no, many blue states currently do not require an ID to vote. And of course I think Trump should then accept defeat.
  6. Don't quite understand how you came to that conclusion out of reposting that video. I don't know where you've lived, but in the multiple blue and red states I've lived in, currently living in a red state, I've had to show my ID to register to vote. In fact, I registered to vote at the same time I obtained a driver's license in the current state I'm in. So, would you agree that if the SAVES Act passes, and the GOP loses big in the midterms, then Trump should accept that defeat and not claim that the midterms are rigged with voting fraud?
  7. Me thinks the Lady (de) doth protest too much.
  8. An 'honorable' Presidential candidate? Fantasy land. In the current structure, every president and candidate has been less than honorable. Zero chance you make it that high without committing a dishonorable offense somewhere along the line. I'm looking for policies and action. The idea that the alternative in the last election would have netted a better outcome is laughable. Not even close.

  10. Answers first, in my opinion: No. No. Yes. I answered Yes. Absolutely. Yes even Moreso than the president. See below. Why I served is completely irrelevant to the discussion, and would take too long to explain here. Honor is of the utmost importance. It is the product of a lifetime of wrestling with tough decisions, making mistakes, learning from them, and actively trying to become better. It centers on TRYING to do the best and right action in every situation. Honor does not demand perfection, it demands accountability for one's actions and respect for human dignity and fallibility. One display of honor is how one treats those they don't need to treat well...such as complete strangers on the internet. That's my short answer on honor. Please feel free to define what you mean by "honor" in a positive sense, not in the negative space (negative sense such as 'honor is not what trump is') To the implied insult to my service and sense of honor (yes, asking a service member if honor means shit to them is generally insulting, especially when you don't know them): I'm not taking your bait, but asking that question certainly speaks to your character. You've never met me. You know very little about me. I served honorably in combat. I've witnessed lives taken, and I've facilitated the taking of lives. I did my best under stressful circumstances that crushed many good men. I was not perfect. In line with this thread, I voted for Trump once. I've voted D, R, and I in local, state, and federal elections. I refuse to compromise my integrity because of someone else's lake thereof. I also feel no need for your validation nor do I owe anything to entitled critics. I would like to have an adult conversation though. That is an example of answering questions. It's what adults should do. I'll try asking questions in line with this thread again: What was our realistic better option than Trump in 2024 (meaning electable individual on the ballot in the last federal election)? Who did you vote for and why? Who do you want to see as our next president?
  11. Did you seriously just respond to him asking what you stand for/what your opinion is, with questions? Copy, you really are a 🤡
  12. I am not left and thus I can't tell you about them. Maybe PM nsplayr and see if he wants to come back. I'll start with a few basic questions. The answers are only your opinion. Is Trump honorable? Is his service honorable? Does it matter to you? If no, why? Does honorable service matter for a President? What about the remaining chain of command down to AB Snuffy? Does honorable service means shit to you? If so, why did you serve?

  15. Yeah, I'm just at my limit on hearing all the critics pointing out how the man in the arena is stumbling while offering not a single constructive word. I try to operate on the assumption that not everyone in the world who disagrees with me is wrong. Unfortunately I've been finding more and more strong opinions are simply covers for cowardice coupled to aggressive levels of ignorance backed by raw emotion and media soundbites. I actively want someone to prove me wrong and to provide a factual well argued stance on what the Left actually stands for. So far it's been emotive responses, name calling, and an intellectual vacuum.

  19. The “both sides do it” argument in the context of what we’re talking about is lazy, dishonest, and willfully ignorant. Conservatives at scale are absolutely not rioting, looting, vandalizing, threatening people’s lives and livelihood, losing complete emotional control over everything, etc. The left on the other hand has and is continuing to do all of those things at scale. Do I need to list all of the very obvious examples and give you a list of personal experiences, or can you put the ego aside and recognize you’re blatantly wrong on the “both sides do it” bullshit? Of course I’m not saying you can’t point out some ultra right nut job who did something bad, or even point out a few. We also probably agree that politicians by and large are asshats, whether they have a D or R next to their name. But when it comes to at-scale violence, destruction and willful disregard for the law and societal norms, GTFO with this “both sides” bullshit. That doesn’t mean you have to like Trump or identify as an R, but you should acknowledge reality.

It would be great to have a healthy Cuba, and healthy western hemisphere for that matter. I just wish Trump realized that every time he changes his tariff policy, he drops a bomb on US long term economics. It might be working in the short term, but at what cost? I'd appreciate an administration that actually looked at the long game, not just the short game. But again, maybe they are looking at the long game with Cuba and South America...maybe there is some genius in these moves. Thankful that I get to sit back in safety and watch.
  22. Do you view the left and the right with the same critical eye? I also don't like trump. Do you believe the that current Left side leadership is a better? Would Harris have been a better president? Was Biden? Speak in the active space. Stop telling us what sucks and what you stand against. Tell us what you stand FOR.
  23. Is this post inferring that you’re against requiring an ID to vote? If not, what am I missing?
  24. I am not a counterpoint to conservatism, but rather to Trump cheerleader squads. My point to ol B-Bus was that Trump ain't no saint either and has delightfully ended lots of careers, ie, "destroyed" people in govt for doing their jobs. But you read my shit as full blown killing. The right has plenty of bloody hands, from the recent killings of MN-D lawmakers to McVeigh. We can take turns and call out an eviler and their political leanings all day long. So I think we can both agree that all poli-flavors do it and it's wrong. As for Trump, I am disappointed in people and the Republican party for supporting, in my opinion, a dishonorable, draft dodging, lying, stealing, cheating, Epstein butt buddy pedo. You and others may continue your disappointment in me for that view. Stay Pissed. Cheers
  25. Too bad state law doesn’t stop federal law. But this is just a performance for the lemmings, we all know that.
  26. Virginia democrats have proposed a state level bill to prevent ICE from enforcing immigration law within 40 feet of a polling location. Man, I can’t imagine why you’d need to make that law since illegals can’t vote…
  27. Not that there are problems with our voting system.
