Unfortunately...or fortunately...I still can't figure it out...he somehow has been managing to turn situations that are clearly look like blunders and somehow extracting benefits for our country. It makes no sense. Like all our tariff policies. No economist ever looks at what he's doing, but somehow he's managed to get multiple countries to cave using that tactics. TBD if it's good for our economy in the long game...I'm not hopeful. Still, he (and we as a country) comes off looking like and idiot, but the end state comes out better than I expected. My gut tells me that he, or his staff, is having behind the scenes conversations for the real negotiations and all the stuff in front of the cameras is pure theater. I hate it, but if this administration extracts some positives out of the situation, good for us I guess. I'll hold my judgment til his term is over.

Now I think this is just a Wag the Dog to take steam off of stuff like Epstein files and ICE killings, etc.

Epstein hurts tons of elites equally, and the ice deaths are self inflicted by nutters on the extreme left. It’s sad that misguided Americans are putting themselves in those situations and dying, but it’s totally preventable by them simply obeying the law while civilly protesting. On Greenland though, Trump is running around in a China-shop breaking things/people at random and i don’t think it’s beneficial. We can achieve our goals with current agreements and maybe some new deals on mining and exploration. Make NATO pay for some of it since our plans there enhances their security as well. Use leverage to cooperate (even if subtly forcing it) instead of overtly disrespecting them with threats and possibly ruining relationships. Though I agree he is a douche many times.PS: I like him calling out Europeans (and us under Obama and Biden) for illogical policies and pushes for going green at all costs. Self inflicted harm by every nation that created policy aligning with that doom and gloom ideology. Germany and the UK screwed themselves for years to come.
1 hour ago1 hr First time I've seen him walk back and correct himself on NATO deaths in afghanistan. I personally picked up far too many broken/dead Brits in the Helmand.

42 minutes ago42 min Not entirely Greenland focused but a great discussion about Trump and the world order from a British perspective. Worth the watch in my opinion.
