At nearly all Buc‑ee’s stores, the soda selection is exclusively Coca‑Cola–branded (as it should be in the South)!Buc‑ee’s has a long‑standing exclusive pouring‑rights agreement with Coca‑Cola dating back to 1997, which means Pepsi products are not sold at almost all of its locations. The lone exception is Johnstown, Colorado which does not sell Coca‑Cola or Pepsi products. It only carries Dr Pepper, RC Cola and/or store or regional brands. No reason for that can be found...https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/articles/popular-soda-brand-wont-buc-112000752.html
Thursday at 07:44 PM3 days Actually, further research revealed Buc‑ee’s leadership has acknowledged that the Johnstown store sits more than 700 miles from the nearest existing Buc‑ee’s supply network, forcing the company to stand up entirely new logistics chains in a market it had never operated in before. Although people often think of Coke exclusivity as a single nationwide contract, in reality pouring‑rights agreements are regional and are heavily dependent on local Coca‑Cola bottlers. If a Coca‑Cola bottler cannot meet volume, service, or timing requirements, the exclusivity clause may be delayed or modified for a specific site.Food‑industry reporting notes that the Colorado location appears to have opened before a compliant Coke distribution arrangement was finalized, resulting in a temporary “neutral” soda lineup instead of Coca‑Cola or Pepsi dominance.Pepsi isn't sold due to the long‑standing Coke agreement, so Buc‑ee’s appears chose brand‑neutral or third‑party beverages like Dr Pepper and RC Cola while the Coke logistics question remained unresolved.

Yesterday at 02:39 PM1 day In GWOT, the shit job was TCN Duty. Now that Trump is promising security to Big Oil if they get back into Ven, who want to sign up for OFSP Duty (Oil Field Security Post)?I think BO is gonna run out the clock on spending more funds there seeing as lots of em are owed $$Bils from 2 previous seizures. Except maybe Chevon. I hear they're already there under some sort of deal so perhaps there's a few expansion opportunities.
Yesterday at 04:25 PM1 day So… have the Narco boats stopped, or have we just stopped talking about them?

Some retired gunship pilots and sensors were doing it.

Definitely require some BOG located away from the oil facilities to act as a QRF in case things get out of hand. Best case it's a deterrent to bad actors. Optics are critical here and the locals will need to feel they're benefitting from the overall deal/setup. I think both sides can win.

6 hours ago6 hr The embassy shut down in 2019, with the same recommendation to US citizens at the time. If an American is still living in Venezuela, I question their intelligence and/or motive. This announcement by DoS is not earth shattering. Parallel topic - did we just remove someone who is replaced by someone who does nothing different WRT cartels, energy, etc. I don’t envy the current lady, she’s in between the cartel/regime and getting another massive American ass whooping.

Given the whole Citgo 6 fiasco from several years ago would have been all the incentive to stay away I would need. The current administration is probably going to be less susceptible than most to pressure if someone shows up on TV asking for help to get their loved one out, but we all know how that can play out long term. The militia's they speak of would be perfect in my mind to add to the list for the "American ass whooping" you describe.
