I wish this admin would just do the job vs making shit up.  Yes, overblown headlines are as old as dirt.  But it just makes the DEA look like chumps.

The DEA said it arrested 171 ‘high ranking’ Sinaloa Cartel members. A Spotlight investigation found that’s not true.

“They are doing anything they can to tie it to a cartel,” said one federal law enforcement official, adding that the arrests were “definitely not cartel.”

A Massachusetts law enforcement official briefed by the DEA confirmed that those arrested were nearly all low-level offenders, not major dealers.

“They always talk it up a little,” the official said of the DEA. “They talked this up too much.”

Quibbling.  They DEA actually arrested 617 suspected cartel members across the U.S. between 25–29 August 2025, that number (171) was in New England only.  That operation also led to the seizure of large quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, counterfeit pills, firearms and millions in cash. DEA officials may have described these as “high-level arrests” and part of a broader effort to dismantle the cartel.

I don't give a fuck about how these criminals are described, as long as they are concentrating on removing these individuals from our society, they can call them the Easter Bunny!

And of course Massachusetts law enforcement officials will try to downplay the fact that these cartel narcotics networks are operating almost unabated in their state!

1. DHS spending $220M of taxpayer money for an ad campaign is bullshit.

2. Steering said funds to your organization is like ADM Burke steering contracts to his future employer.

3. I look forward to the investigation.

I want to see her wearing those chaps with no jeans.

On that being said "arg"...I declare DIBs Before "Biff_T"!

Is she dinosaur bait?

I think Republicans need to give up on tough-talking women. I'll take the soft spoken Condoleezza Rice and Amy Coney Barrett over Sarah Palin, Marjorie Taylor green, Lauren Bogart, Christy noam, or Kari Lake

Hegseth order on first Caribbean boat strike, officials s...

I guess Pistol Piggy Pete forgot his LOAC, along with some others. Maybe this is where the, "Don't follow illegal orders" movement started.

Anyway, I got no love for narcos; I would have let the ocean finish the job. I don't expect SoW to change, well, maybe more witch leak hunts.

@disgruntledemployee Well a WaPo reporter claims DEVGRU was ordered to execute unarmed people (and did), so it must be true. You actually believe this bullshit?

Supposedly one of the "sources" saw the feed when the strike occurred. Anyone in a position to see that had to have a clearance and likely at risk of prosecution and prison if they get outed. Helluva risk. Of course the press can clte anything and anyone to generate a story with no consequences if they're wrong.
