Just finished the Cowboys documentary on Netflix. Really glad they grabbed Jimmy Johnson or FSU’s legacy would’ve been in jeopardy!

Saban retired because schools can now openly pay players via NIL and the portal allows in essence free agency. The entire SEC won’t be as dominate as it once was due to this. 

Same point was made the other night on ESPN.

Talk of firing the current Alabama couch and what his buyout would cost per contract, turns out when your boosters aren’t making oil or Fortune 500 money and your fan base largely shops at dollar general, you can’t afford nice things.

Basically what I sent to every Gator fan I know.

As dumb as it’s gotten for them, I still have more respect for them than the Bama people trying to take a victory lap off last nights pee wee football team they played against. I especially like the ones calling for targeting or unnecessary roughness on a kicker making a tackle but ignoring their guys going lights out against a guy when they were up by 60 pts.

Yesterday was an epic game of football.

If you didn't see the end of some of these games you missed some incredible action.

GT runs their kicker kicker onto the field with 15 seconds, the clock running, no timeouts and hits the longest FG (55 yards), of his life as the clock runs out...Dabo is left with his second loss and a dumbfounded look on his face.

Tenn Kick shanks a kick to end their 8 year drought against Ga...game goes to OT and UGA wins.  UGA is NOT that good! 

Texas A&M stuns ND with a Hail Mary as the clock runs out...ND now 1-2.

UF - I almost feel bad for them.  Their defense actually held LSU and it would have been much closer if Napeir wasn't such a horrible coach and their QB didn't throw FIVE picks.  This was game one of a buzzsaw stretch on their schedule...next three games are at Miami, Texas at home then on College Station to play the Aggies.  Does Napier survive to coach all three games?

Arch Manning is not living up to expectations...

Vandy suddenly looks stout as they completely punk's #11 South Carolina.

Miami ended USF's dream run...the Canes started hot but let down a bit after a 1+45 rain delay then into Halftime.  They cranked it back up to win big, Mario should have pulled Beck a lot sooner.

Ole Miss fought a war with Arkansas, great back and forth game to watch.

Great time of year.

You'll not get an argument from me.  UF could have won that game, despite the poor officiating.  I think Lagway may be injured and Billy is letting him play, there's no other explanation as to why he's become such a horrible quarterback this year.  

LSU is overrated.

I say Hail Mary because of the way it went down not because of the distance.  Correct on ND record, I forgot they had a by week two.
