Just listened to it. I’m not really surprised by any of it, but it is still absolutely blood boiling. I hope the Trump admin steps in and rights this egregious wrong.

Was saddened to hear that Crenshaw is in that bucket from their perspective. I was hoping he'd be one of the good guys. Perhaps he is, but the comment Ryan mentions about Crenshaw's "boys down at 6" was disheartening.
November 15Nov 15 I’ve heard lots of credible source negatives about Crenshaw for several years. Unfortunate, I had high hopes at the beginning.
November 15Nov 15 Sadly, none of this surprises me. The more I learn, the more jaded I get toward our military/political leadership and what kept us in the never ending quagmires since 9/11. This is proof that no one is immune to the government trying to fuck you and make your life a living hell if you piss off the wrong person. It also puts a spotlight on the hypocrisy around the different spanks for different ranks. Never mind the unwillingness of people to do the right thing so as not to upset their careers. Here's hoping the current administration will fix this situation. Funny sidenote on the point they make about being "frozen" in the rank your retired/left the service. Our OG received a call from a FDX guy about a squadron mate who had the audacity to take MLOA during peak. The dude introduced himself as Maj Gen XXX and to our OG's credit, he made a point to let him know that his retired rank didn't mean shit, then prompted told him to go fuck himself, the MLOA was legit.

We have some Navy dork at AA who was going around on his own volition and calling MLOA guys to harass them about their leave. Kept doing it until he was threatened by the union to stop or they'd report it to the company. Some guys just aren't happy unless they're unhappy.

Not even a CPO guy, just a line guy who’s clearly the front runner for biggest douche of the airlines 2025 award? I can’t even fathom that.

5 hours ago5 hr How these reps become multi-millionaires in a short period of time is insane. Crenshaw is going to double-down and his Shiz is going to get exposed.
3 hours ago3 hr Threatening a lawsuit is just not thinking straight. Not to pour cold water on politician hate, but...100% disabled / medically retired O-4 at 10 years of service in 2016, pulled forward to today is probably around $120k combined disability and retirement pay. House of representative base pay of $174k. That's 7 years of pulling down the neighborhood of ~$300k. If he was into saving/investing while in the military as well, it would not be hard at all to be a multi-millionaire with mostly boring index trading. Once you toss in inherent knowledge folks in those positions get, it really wouldn't be hard. All that to just frame what is a reasonable amount of money to be talkign about.Skimming through his disclosures, the only one that makes me raise my eyebrows is his habit of throwing money at FAS (Direxion Bull 3x) I don't feel like researching the timing of those purchases, but that could be suspicious. That said he also invested in some weird crypto BS that probably cost him money too (company went TU).
1 hour ago1 hr Looks like the below X post summarizes the issue, for those who (like me), who didn't want to sit through Shawn Ryan's 8 minute video.Questions about US House members becoming millionaires are always concerning, for obvious reasons.I'd be more concerned about what I think is the more likely scenario: Corporations, NGOs, or other organizations who want to gain favor with Crenshaw, offering to foot the bill for his birthday bash. He entered Congress in 2018, and has been reelected three times since then. According to Wikipedia, his 2020 campaign was one of the most expensive Congressional races in the country, at $10M+. Someone is paying that bill, and it's for sure not Crenshaw himself.I don't follow this shit as much as others, but I've heard Crenshaw on a podcast once or twice, and read about him here and there. Ten years of service and five tours as a SEAL is an enviable military record, by any account. Good on him for leveraging that into a political career. But he sure comes off like a grown adult throwing a tantrum in this current issue. Also, based on the few things I've heard and read about him, he really comes off as someone who's committing the gravest error of celebrity: He's believing his own press. He's got this great image of American Hero Navy SEAL turned political crusader, fighting the good fight. While that makes for good press, I'm sure he's just as dirty as your normal Congress critter. Duke Cunningham was another Navy hero who rose to Congress, and by all accounts fell into the same trap, ultimately landing himself in prison. Finally, just because this kind of shit really grinds my gears: "My boys down at 6....."Man, STFU. You've been out for almost ten years. Your rank is Mister. Or Congressman. But throwing around comments like "your boys" just makes you sound yet another washed-up retiree in the Beltway, trying to impress people with a bunch of mindless name dropping.
