Anyone have a silencer on their EDC? I guess it wouldn't be too big of a deal for an off-body carry or truck gun. Also, depending on the round and the silencer, it might give the good guy a few extra chances of hitting his target before the active shooter realizes he's being engaged and from where, especially since his ears are likely ringing from the first few shots.

That being said, I would never ever do it. You don't want to be in front of a jury having used a gun that is anything but a normal, boring gun. No punisher decals, no quippy phrases, and no "scary" accessories.

One thing I've noticed is governments HATE to give up power no matter who's in charge. Prosecutors like to keep statutes like these on the books to hold over certain defendants to coerce please deals. Edited 9 hours ago9 hr by fire4effect

It is a HOT round, I think the threshold says it is good to penetrate NIJ Level II and Level IIIA. I love it, compact and light. Made by a local guy (https://spartacmfgn.com/), who has a contract and is making a bunch for the Secret Service. He told me for the same weight of 1000 X 5.56 you get 1400+ rounds of 5.7MM.The interesting thing t me about the event was the length of that pistol...seems tough to carry concealed?

Looks like he's wearing a vest in the video, so that would make it easier.

I loved the pr-57 from Kel-Tec, and they have another cool gun that uses p90 mags. The round is finally catching on and unlike so many others, it offers something unique ballistically to add to the collection
