I recently wrapped up a CC tour at the ANG unit in Chattanooga and the was told the Navy folks worked in the building for a while after the shooting. We’ve never held formal meet and greets. Candidates always visited during a UTA weekend and if they were in the military, we expected them to wear uniforms. Bottom line for us-if you visited and were in the military, then wear your uniform. And no doubt- correct blues for the interview. You will be judged and scrutinized. WOW! Good to see all of the comments. I’ve seen DEOCS where only a small sample size actually left comments and they weren’t as verbose as these. I cannot imagine the climate that created this.
