    Typically the answer is yes. But I transferred units last year as a Lt Col so I could fly manned airplanes again, so it’s possible.     I was a ANG CRF Ops Officer when Katrina hit. We flew out the next day for Biloxi and drove over to Stennis IAP, where we stayed for 2 weeks. One of the best things I’ve done in my 28 yrs.
