Maybe with the transfer portal we are getting much better parity and this year’s national champ isn’t a forgone conclusion like in years past. I still got money on Ohio State to win it all, but they should’ve lost to Nebraska and did lose to Oregon who nearly got beat by Wisconsin and Boise. Point being, the playing field appears to be more level this season for sure and perhaps SEC teams beating up on each other will be the new normal. I’m not advocating for Alabama, like Finebaum or something, but I’m glad we’ll get to watch it play out in real time in the playoffs. The only thing I’m pissed about is Notre Dame’s schedule full of garbage and never having to be accountable…Unless NIU shows up in South Bend.

It’s been a smashing success

After today’s games it’s perfectly obvious…We have absolutely no clue who is going to be this year’s Nat Champs. Hell, at this rate it might be Army (joking). This has been a fun season to watch.

I’m no Bama fan, or UGA and I think we all knew Tenn was a poser, and MO’s days were numbered. I agree, you lose to Vandy, you should drop completely out of the top 25, and sadly, the polls do matter, somewhat. I guess we can call it SEC bias, but their brand of football has been a little better, and in a good conference there should be a lot of upsets. I’m just glad we got 3 times as many playoff games this year, so we can watch these boys hash out their differences.

I’d rather see SEC schools beating up on each other in the playoffs. Let me guess, you’re a Notre Dame fan?

It certainly was another wild weekend of college football! I’m grateful for the opportunity to fight about something other than politics, amongst friends, for a little while. My money says half of the playoff teams are going to be from the SEC…At least they should be.

That Notre Dame loss…Hilarious. I’ve already read a few articles saying they can still make the playoffs if they run the table and other classic ND apologist horseshit. Their schedule is a cake walk and they just lost, in South Bend, to the easiest team on it. It was great watching Deion and his kids get their ass kicked again too! Talking about stout, Texas looked fantastic. I know UM is far from last year’s team, but damn.
