Can you apply for a C-130 Type Rating after you complete the MPD (left and right seat qualification) at Little Rock?

We haven't been able to get into AMCART reliably since November, and the civilian fuels dude (who AMCART was supposed to replace... yet he's still in the same job) insists we're the stupid ones, and AMCART works just fine.

Apparently my unit has been using the AFSOC codes for a while and I'm trying to figure out if ACC does the same thing, but I don't have the parent document, just the pages from it about the AFSOC codes. These are used to come up with the Mission Numbers that go on Flight Authorizations... thanks for any help.

Neither she nor my dad really know much about what he did but from what they do remember I know that he was flying transport over the Burma hump. My aunt thinks that he did some of his pilot training here but some of the pictures that she gave me also show him in Muskogee. Deployed tactics guy. We're going to start using PPR's for certain airfields in theatre. The following question arose: do PPR's have an effective time? (i.e. +/- 1hr ETA). Looked through GP and other FLIP but can't find guidance. Back home, if ETA ever changed, we'd just give OPS at arrival station a heads up over the phone but keep the same PPR. This always worked so I never questioned it. Anyway, now it's an issue.

I have a question that I realize could be contentious in nature, but I wonder if anyone who can chime in and point me in the right direction. Secondly, as my first posting, my question deals with the opportunities for ANG pilots to become instructor pilot's within the various SUPT bases. I'm aware of the reserves having that ability, but how about the guard?

Are there squadrons where you'll typically find the higher-speed dudes? I remember reading somewhere about the 19FS (F-15C) up at Elmendorf being the Air Force's top albino squadron...what's up with that? More of an urban legend-type thing? I did a search but didn't come up with much. I'm looking for any advice on casual at Andrews AFB but specifically -where to live/not to live (is the BAH really $1200) -is IFT done on Andrews or at a local airport (AF 1 I'm sure can get in the way) -what jobs you will be performing on the base (if any) any to volunteer for (I used to be base honor guard when I was enlisted) -what uniform you have to wear the most -any incentive rides ( I know there are mostly C-__'s) -how bad can the traffic get -etc etc I really appreciate it guys. I just selected to go to UPT when i graduate from college and i have many questions about UPT. *What is the hardest part of UPT and what is the best advise anyone can give to a green 2Lt going to UPT? *Is there things i can/should be studying while still in college to get me ahead of the game? *How hard is it to get fighter/bomber track select? Does anyone have a good list of MARS frequencies?. Basically they are a civilian outfit sponsored by Sprint and they will give you phone patches to DSN or even long distance commercial numbers. It's great to call the wife flying over the Pacific. I have used it before and it works way better than triyng to wake the sleeping AF HF Freq's (In the FIH)that are a pain in the A#$.

Im sure that this is a common topic but I need some advice. First off I should have my degree and pilots license by the end of summer. I have been an aircraft mechanic for 7 years active duty and about 2 years as a full time reservist (ART) with the KC-10's at McGuire AFB New Jersey. I work along side the reserve pilots but I really don't know any closely. My question is how do I go about letting them know that I am interested in a pilot slot in the reserves. Who should I talk to? Should I just go talk to them one day, or is it supposed to be a more formal meeting?
