Wanna focus on that point, as with -47, range is key. Our recent experience with Iranian TBMs, drones, etc… I think reinforces that operating outside of the threat rings or with enough setback for warning/defense is paramount. That IMO drives a growth in size and logistical footprint (maybe) of any platform, so be it. With that in mind, I think that drives you back to the advanced rhino with CFTs and other updates, signature reductions, etc… If king for a day, rework the already strong wing and expand idea of enclosed weapons pods, fixing the 4 degree canting placement for drag reduction.

Dover AFB and sex dolls
There was a report in the paper several years ago about the night Alabama lost the National Championship game. In the hours after the game Tuscaloosa Alabama set an all-time record for porn downloads. Anything to make you feel better I guess.

I wonder if someone is already calculating that figure! I assume deflated and in their boxes?

https://www.twz.com/a-10-pilots-compelling-case-for-replacing-warthogs-with-super-hornets I found BURT’s argument persuasive and before I had read it I thought the Rhino was probably the right aircraft for the AF’s attack mission set with self escort capes. Just my two cents but I think a carrier suitable jet would have the trade space in weight / structural strength for mods to optimize for Attack while retaining true self defense capabilities. Delete or mod carrier landing gear, wing folding, etc… and methinks you could get more gas, armor, redundant or extra systems, etc…. also, with the original baseline Rhino being a carrier based fighter, it probably would be well suited for land based ACE expeditionary ops with mods, already has an APU for instance and has demonstrated road based dispersal ops.

Flying Videos Thread Part 2!
One was most likely a Stub flight that forgot to update the callsign in ACARS. It’s definitely not the first time that a crew forgot to update the flight number callsign.

Maybe the superbug is better than the Viper or 5EX, but in the world we live in that production line is done. So the only new build options are the OA-1K, F-35, F-16V, or F-15EX. Also, not seeing how an upgraded Viper with conformals and 2-3 bags would be fuel limited compared to an F/A-18E/F.

Now all the prices are going to skyrocket for a while I suspect as everybody scoops up the existing inventory. But once everything balances out this should be a fantastic win. I'm one step closer to an FRT Tommy gun...

As the process now cuts both ways I'm trying to imagine a prosecutor who would bring a case that can be undone every time there's a reconciliation. Hopefully ATF will issue rules that say they're no longer bothering to enforce the NFA for suppressors and SBRs at least at the federal level. Crazy times.Last week

Block 70/72 Viper - Gas, weapons load, cost ($80M). Eagle EX - While they can carry bomb, they are mainly missile trucks and they are expensive ($97M each). Superbugs are oddly cheaper ($73M each).- Gun Talk
There's another danger. The ruling is based entirely off tax collection. And as everybody knows, our taxes are done through the incredibly fuzzy process of reconciliation. Unless something is done to modify or repeal the NFA, Democrats will only need to reinstate a $1 tax on short barreled rifles and suppressors to put them right back under the NFA. Now, 2 years of unrestricted sales of these firearms would do a lot to make it less likely to change back, but the ruling is only useful if it is one step in a continuing process of deregulation.- A-10 retirement

Yet... In short, you will still have to abide by the Gun Control act which will require a background check to purchase. A good step in the right direction.- Gun Talk
The decision does not apply to everyone nationwide for the time being. It applies to the specific plaintiffs in the consolidated cases Silencer Shop Foundation v. ATF and Jensen v. ATF, along with certain affiliated entities. From the Silencer Shop Foundation case: Silencer Shop Foundation Gun Owners of America (GOA) Gun Owners Foundation Palmetto State Armory SilencerCo Weapons Research B&T USA Firearms Regulatory Accountability Coalition (FRAC) From the Jensen case: Texas State Rifle Association (TSRA) Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA) FPC Action Foundation Hot Shots Custom, LLC The injunction also includes these plaintiff states: Alaska Georgia Idaho Indiana Kansas Louisiana Montana North Dakota Oklahoma South Carolina South Dakota Texas (God bless!!) Utah West Virginia Wyoming The ruling concerns NFA registration and approval requirements for: Suppressors (silencers) Short-barreled rifles (SBRs) Short-barreled shotguns (SBSs) "Any Other Weapons" (AOWs) in certain portions of the case. It does not eliminate NFA regulation of machine guns or destructive devices. However, the sources I found do not say that every person residing in those states are automatically covered simply because they live there! One legal analysis specifically notes that coverage depends on whether a person falls within a protected category under the injunction, such as a member, customer, agency, or other covered party. In short, the organizations directly affected are current and future members and customers of GOA, Gun Owners Foundation, TSRA, FPC Action Foundation, CCRKBA, Silencer Shop Foundation, Palmetto State Armory, SilencerCo, B&T USA, FRAC, and Hot Shots Custom, plus their members and customers as specified by the injunction.- Gun Talk
