Why are you looking at Hunter Biden nude pics??

Why did a Republican congresswoman look at them first and then show them to Congress? Are Republicans that obsessed with Hunter Biden's dick? Do you get off on seeing and showing what is essentially revenge porn of the President's son?

Dude, the reason the few of you "moved on with" your lives instead of talking about that absolute fiasco after the fact, is because you were dead ing wrong after screaming at the top of your lungs of how righteous you were.  Instead of admitting that your side was full of arrogant charlatans and trying to figure out how to ensure such a up doesn't occur in the near future, you high-tailed as fast as possible to save face.

You deserve to be "dunked" on.  A lot.  It was a massive stain on modern society with long-lasting detrimental 1st and 2nd order effects.

Also, are these dubious press outfits (who latch onto reports that further excoriate the people who demanded others get the vaccine) somehow worse than the ones who went off 24/7 for nearly 2 years about how the world was basically ending and everyone needed to trust the science?

GTFOH

70% of Americans got vaccinated and Omicron proved to be far less dangerous than the earlier variants.

We moved on for the same reason you don't see people who believe earth is round constantly picking fights online about it.

Ok, cool. If Hunter Biden committed crimes, then I want him to go to jail. If President Biden committed crimes, then I want him to go to jail. Why does that require showing Hunter Biden nudes to Congress in a public forum?

As you know, Department of Justice is headed by the US Attorney General, and reports directly to the POTUS.

How likely is it that the US Attorney General (Executive Branch) would pursue charges against Hunter?

He documented himself committing crimes and our justice system is not providing justice. What should the Legislative branch do when laws they pass fail to be upheld?

What makes you more upset: Crimes being committed and not prosecuted, or evidence of crimes being revealed?

Lol, because photos of Hunter Biden having sex is evidence of a crime. Show me the direct linkage. Find the alleged prostitute and have her testify. Show me some real evidence that proves "beyond a reasonable doubt" of Hunter Biden's crimes. These photos certainly don't prove "beyond a reasonable doubt." The photos are just a pathetic far right Republican nut job shock tactic that absolutely obliterates the decency of the US Congress.

I think you moved on because you were willing to condemn people to death for not taking the shot and don't want to talk about it.

How is it you saw a photo of Green holding up these photos, but have no idea of the context? It's a simple search.

Hunter Biden paid prostitutes through his law firm, OWASCO PC, and trafficked his victims across state lines in violation of the Mann Act. Not only that, IRS whistleblowers confirm Hunter Biden committed tax fraud by deducting payments to prostitutes from OWASCO’s taxes.

Lol, so a Trump appointed U.S. attorney (Weiss) decided not to bring violation of the Mann Act charges against Hunter Biden, even with these two whistleblowers and all of this "damning" evidence against Hunter Biden? You live in an absolute fantasy land of conspiracies.

I'd be willing to take all of this back if you show me the PROOF of these whistleblower's claims. Something tells me that will not be the case. Until you show me the proof (not just nudes and two whistleblowers gabbing it up), this is just one of a million far right conspiracy theories.

Are you saying because Weiss was appointed by Trump, that he is incapable of failing to uphold the law? I would assume you have a low opinion of Trump. How is it you're using Trump's appointment to defend Weiss? It doesn't make any sense.

I suggest you watch the full whistleblower video:

I'm saying that any Trump-appointed U.S. attorney would be beyond excited to uphold the law, especially regarding Hunter Biden. With all of this supposed evidence, it should have been a slam dunk for Weiss and the charges should have been brought forth, especially since Weiss had full authority to do so.

Weiss said he did not have the authority to do so. Weiss deferred to the DC US Attorney, who had decided not to bring charges. Trump is no longer around, and Weiss was afraid of the consequences, so he punted.

That is 100% false. Weiss himself said that he had full authority, see the following articles: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/07/10/us/politics/david-weiss-hunter-biden-irs.html

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/hunter-biden-prosecutor-weiss-contradicts-irs-whistleblower-rcna93509

https://nypost.com/2023/07/10/hunter-biden-prosecutor-denies-requesting-special-counsel/

Anyway, it's worthless arguing about this anymore since neither of us will change our stance. But the burden is on you and your far right republican nut jobs to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Hunter Biden committed crimes beyond his plea deal.

I'll return to my original premise: showing Hunter Biden's nudes in a US Congress hearing is a pathetic and disgusting shock tactic that is representative of the modern Republican Party.

Correct, he did say that but only before the testimony of the whistleblowers that detailed how the investigations were stymied by the DOJ. Immediately after, he contacted Jordan and the IRS and said he did not have the authority to prosecute Hunter. Why did he waffle?

It's still odd that your delicate sensitivities are offended by photographic evidence of crimes being committed, but not by the crimes themselves.

LOL, Jim Jordan is straight up misleading here. In the June 30 letter he references Weiss never stated he did not have full authority, and Weiss sticks to those guns in the most recent 10 July letter referenced by the articles above.

Finally, there was 0 reason to blast those nudes in a public forum for the whole world to see. There are better, less trashy ways to show at the hearing what you claim to be "photographic evidence of crimes being committed." He hasn't been charged with a crime, nor has he been proven guilty of Mann Act violations in a court of law. Until then, those photos may be photographic evidence of crimes being committed, or just Hunter Biden having sex. Everybody is innocent until proven guilty, am I right?

Who is misleading? Weiss said he had "ultimate authority" to bring charges against Hunter Biden. After the whistleblowers, he wrote this:

"As the U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware, my charging authority is geographically limited to my home district. If venue for a case lies elsewhere, common Departmental practice is to contact the United States Attorney’s Office for the district in question and determine whether it wants to partner on the case. If not, I may request Special Attorney status from the Attorney General pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 515. Here, I have been assured that, if necessary after the above process, I would be granted § 515 Authority in the District of Columbia, the Central District of California, or any other district where charges could be brought in this matter."

So he attempts to confuse and complicate the issue by essentially saying:

"I do have ultimate authority, but only if I request Special Counsel Status from the Attorney General. He told me I would get it if I asked for it, but I haven't asked for it. Until I ask for Special Counsel status, prosecution can only be brought by the DOJ in DC, California, or elsewhere, so I don't have authority until I ask for it, and I haven't asked for it, but if I did, I would. Until I do, I simply cannot charge Hunter Biden with any crimes, but I could if the AG lets me."

LOL. What a joke.

So you acknowledge that the photos may be photographic evidence of crimes being committed.  I'll settle for that.

She wasn't "looking" at them she was clinically studying them, alone, in the ladies room.

He wrote that entire section you quoted in the 30 June/1 July letter and then later on in that same later affirmed he had full authority. He then said he had full authority in the 10 July letter. You keep quoting the 1 July letter without referencing the 10 July letter. You are cherry picking your argument just like Rep Jordan was and intentionally being misleading. Weiss will probably have to testify and he will say the same thing again. You are the joke.

It’s worthless arguing with you because you can’t even concede the point that showing nude photos to the public of an individual within the halls of the US Congress is in poor taste. You are so far down the far right rabbit hole that you support the actions of MTG, who is an actively serving politician and individual of low moral character as opposed to Hunter Biden who is neither a politician or public figure.

It’s extremely disheartening to see that I serve side by side with people who support MTG and her trashy actions. Hunter Biden is innocent until proven guilty with regard to the Mann Act regardless of whatever conspiracy theories Republicans come up with. It’s a good thing you can’t convict with solely Whistleblower testimony and pictures of having sex. Show the proof beyond a reasonable doubt and I’ll be glad to see him go to jail. However, it will always be trashy, pathetic, and disgusting to publicly show those pictures during a Congressional hearing. There is nothing that will change my mind on that point, and I’d like to think that any decent person would feel the same way.

You’re welcome. I had no problems with the pre-Tea Party Republican Party. Their platform was reasonable and the vast majority of them were decent human beings who just happened to disagree with Democrats. Post Tea Party, something happened that turned the core of the Republican Party absolutely rotten. It’s only gotten worse with people like MTG and Boebert saying and doing disgusting things for attention. I guess the party of family values enjoys showing photos of a guy having sex in Congress. One of Jesus’ teachings was “Thou shalt show revenge porn photos of your enemies in a public political forum.”

What about the 10 July letter is different?

"I wish to make one point clear: in this case, I have not requested Special Counsel designation pursuant to
28 CFR § 600 et seq. Rather, I had discussions with Departmental officials regarding
potential appointment under 28 U.S.C. § 515, which would have allowed me to file charges
in a district outside my own without the partnership of the local U.S. Attorney. I was
assured that I would be granted this authority if it proved necessary
. And this assurance
came months before the October 7, 2022, meeting referenced throughout the whistleblowers’
allegations. In this case, I’ve followed the process outlined in my June 30 letter and have
never been denied the authority to bring charges in any jurisdiction.

So, at this moment, does he, or does he not, currently have legal authority to file charges? I am asking you. If not, why not? You tell me.

What is there to concede? Your assessment of what is and is not acceptable is 100% purely subjective based on your own personal biases. You don't want a concession, you just want me to agree with your opinion. Hunter Biden is not a public figure? What is the litmus test that you use to proclaim who is and is not a public figure?

You're just spouting opinions. Not a single one of your grievances is based in a rule or law. Do you normally feign moral outrage and expect people to surrender just because you threw a hissyfit over your hurt feelings? Protip: This debate tactic does not work. Many people here are providing evidence of legal wrongdoing. If you want to participate, you should too.

You highlighted the applicable parts for me. He was assured he had full authority. What else do you want him to say? There’s nothing that would change your mind at this point about the innocence of Hunter Biden. He is guilty in your mind no matter what I say and you are just spouting the talking points you get from your pundits/podcasts/whatever far right media you ravenously consume like a brainwashed far right lemming.

It’s not just my opinion, but that doesn’t matter to you either. You support MTG and her actions. Your grievances that are supposedly based on the rule of the law haven’t even been charged. You are condemning a man who is innocent until proven guilty. That is a fact.

I never claimed to be a family values guy, but your party sure has over and over. I’m just somebody who thinks showing nudes of the President’s son in Congress in an attempt to humiliate him and “own the Libs” is ing pathetic. If you don’t see that, then we won’t ever see eye to eye and if I ever met you in person I’d probably dislike you for being a brainwashed far right loon since it would probably be your personality.
